A fun. albeit silly movie. Check your intelligence at the door and enjoy the ride. All of Roland Emmerich's movies are pretty dumb, but they're a lot of fun and that's how he wants them to be. He knows he's making goofy "popcorn" movies & he likes to blow stuff up & have fun. He doesn't take himself or his movies too seriously, like the incredibly overrated Michael Bay does with his ridiculous movies.

Fargo season 2 was good, but was not brilliant like Season 1. Everything about the first season was perfect. There were some very good performances in season 2...Ted Danson, Jesse Plemmons & Patrick Wilson were standouts...but some were just a little too over the top for me, most notably Kirsten Dunst and especially Bokeem Woodbine. His character was as annoying as his one episode role on The Sopranos. Unfortunately he's in every episode of Fargo. The decisions to include all the different split screens throughout the season was also very annoying. Even good as far as doing a split screen of the same shot...WHAT???!!! I wouldn't necessarily say I was disappointed in season 2, but it didn't live up the all the hype & wasn't nearly as excellent as season 1.
The previous season of The Walking Dead ended with Rick and the group outgunned, outnumbered, and trapped in a train car awaiting a grim fate. What follows is a story that weaves the true motives of the people of Terminus with the hopeful prospect of a cure in Washington, D.C., the fate of the group's lost comrades, as well as new locales, new conflicts, and new obstacles in keeping the group together and staying alive. Stories will break apart and intersect. The characters will find love and hate. Peace and conflict. Contentment and terror. And, in the quest to find a permanent, safe place to call home, one question will haunt them. After all they've seen, all they've done, all they've sacrificed, lost, and held on to no matter what the cost. Who do they become?

After 2 highly disappointing seasons (season 3 & season 4) my faith has been restored in The Walking Dead. Episode 1 starts off with a bang and the season never lets up. As with each season, new characters arrive and beloved characters are (sadly) killed off. One regular character continues to survive despite being a huge annoyance amongst many Dead Fans, but this specific character isn't nearly as loathsome as usual. Maybe becaise he's not as central as he's been in the past. Keep watching through the end credits. Some episodes may or may not have an extra scene after the credits roll.

The Silence of the Lambs is one of the greatest movies of all time and Anthony Hopikins portrayal as Hannibal Lecter is amazing. Hannibal suffers from the casting of Julianne Moore in the role of Clarice Starling, which was brilliantly portrayed by Jodie Foster in Silence of the Lambs. Moore is fine in the role, but it should've been as a different character instead of Starling. Red Dragon is a remake of Manhunter and it's a very well made remake. Everyone is top notch and it pulls off the rare feat of a prequel actually being good.

Thia is the 1st live Van Halen CD with David Lee Roth on vocals. I love that it's not cleaned up in the studio, so the mistakes are there for everyone to hear. It makes it more authentic.
