Okay, I admit it, I originally planned to buy the blu-ray of Creed, but when I saw this collection of EVERY other Rocky movie to date for even less money, I just had to buy it. There have been all sorts of different editions of the various Rocky movies over the years, some better than others, but it's nice to have them all in a neat little blu-ray package. A great guilty pleasure for a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Room is not only one of the best movies of the year, it's one of the few films that actually plays just as well on the small screen as the big screen. A haunting movie that will stay with you for a long time. And go back and listen to the director commentary, which is very revealing too.

A hugely underrated film

What a shame that director Ron Howard's period nautical epic never really found an audience. The film has a lot going for it, but unfortunately the studio never really knew how to market it (which also happened to Howard's Cinderella Man some years ago). Also a shame that so many people never got to see the film on a big screen as it was meant to be seen.

Potentially good film, trying to find right tone

There is a lot to recommend Victor Frankenstein, but it's tough to decide what the tone really is. The first act is a bit light-hearted adventure but the final act is straight-up horror/suspense. And along the way, the film jumps back and forth between the two. Some good stuff to be found in it, but a shame it never really finds iits feet.

Quite simply, Fargo is the best show on television. It's the rare instance of a TV adaptation of a popular film, that is just as interesting as the original source material. The writing, directing, acting; everything is fantastic, but the best part is just knowing what's going to happen from one week to the next. Oh yeah, and UFOs too.

A beautiful-looking film during its initial release, the cleaned-up Blu-ray of RoboCop looks as good as it did then. Wonderfully directed, with a delightfully subversive script, the film holds up incredibly well.
