Finally, Star Wars in 3D!!!

As the first Star Wars film I've ever watched in 3D, this was a special treat! Gorgeous video and audio along with an impressive amount of special features; my only gripe being that like many other Disney releases, it lacks a trailer gallery. The digipak packaging is really well-crafted, too; though I would be much happier had they designed all this within a SteelBook. Overall, a highly recommended release.

18 years later and well worth the wait…

As a lifelong ATCQ fan, I held off hope that perhaps they'd release that one final album they were under contract for with Jive Records. With the years gone by, with false alarm announcements or general anticipation, one skepticized that the hype surrounding its release would far outshine an album itself. Then in early 2016 when Phife sadly succumbed to his diabetes, that hope seemed all but lost. Then surprisingly in late October, Q-Tip announced the release of that new album a mere two weeks later! Now after 18 years with the CD finally in my hands was it worth the wait?
Absolutely.
I cannot put in a review how a lone album can encompass 18 years of anticipation and hype, but nothing is lost on the album; not even with the passing of Phife. In fact, there was a lot more of his presence on the album than I would have expected, including a couple tracks his bandmates made in memoriam. Still the stellar production by Q-Tip & Ali. Even Jarobi, who has never rapped on their prior albums, shows some incredible flows alongside Tip, Busta Rhymes, Consequence, André 3000, & Kendrick Lamar.
I never wanted this album to end, so I think I'll keep it on repeat over the next 18 years. ATCQ forever…

Finally, a US SteelBook for this classic film!

Was pleasantly surprised when I found out Fox released a US SteelBook for this and other classic Fox films via Best Buy. Contained is the same 10th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray as the prior release with all the same special features. The SteelBook itself takes after the same design of the former's slipcase, beautifully printed on the SB with a matte finish. I do appreciate as well that the paper backing outside the SB is uniform with Best Buy's James Bond SB collection. All this at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!

…working with the minimalist cover of Ant-Man within a bullet-sized hole through the circuit board, and opening it to reveal an army of ants swarming the interiors. The movie itself looks and sounds great, especially in 3D; showcasing the most of macro lenses and bringing beauty out of the mundane.

Basing this review on the disc contents, this release has easily become another favorite 3D film in my collection. It was the first time for me to watch it in 3D, and I was instantly mesmerized by its quality. Supplements were great, though I am perplexed why they've scaled them down in recent Marvel Studios Blu-rays. At least an additional trailer gallery would suffice. Aside from that, I certainly hold this release in high regards.
