Poorly Designed and Bad Customer Service
BygingbudfromNew York
I bought this product because it looked easy to mount and easily accesible from the front seat. When it arrived I could see that the mounting bars were on a slant, rather than straight across like in the photos. When I mounted it to the car it slanted toward one seat more than the other. I called customer service for the product 3 times. The first time I called the representative was very lovely and told me I could return it directly to the company since we needed the product for a vacation and they would send me a new one. I thought this was very good customer service at the time. I paid the shipping and they sent me one with the exact same problem. When I called customer service again I was told that the mounting bars are repositionable, which they are not. I asked for a refund of the cost of shipping and the representative told me she was not in a position to do that. I asked her who was and she said her manager was and she would have to call me back. The manager called me back and told me they could not refund my money because they hadn't received the returned unit yet and even when they did she could not gaurantee that a refund would be granted. I explained to her that I wish I was told from the beginning that nothing could be done to correct the problem and to just send the item back to the store for a refund. She dismissed me by just responding "Have a nice day." I will never deal with Digital Innovations again.

nothing wrong with product
March 11, 2011
had you taken the time to examine the mount you would have discovered that by turning it over and pushing out the arms from the u shaped plastic on each side it would have freed it up to swivel. great product and does not deserve a poor rating because you dont know what you are doing.

Bought because you could swim with it.

Not sure I'll ever use all the features. Somewhat large for a small wrist. If you're holding the rail or something in your hand walking up stairs, the stairs counter doesn't work. The notification that you haven't moved is a fairly quiet 'buzz'. Charge lasts about 5 days. Since I don't use at night for sleep tracking, it's okay to leave charged at night. Does charge pretty quickly. Like the heart rate and intensity trackers.
