For those who don't know already the anime was only HALF finished. I already knew this before buying. I also own original DVD release as you can see. The anime released 2001 in japan but didn't come over stateside until 2005
I mostly bought for convince of having all 26 episodes on ONE blu-ray DISC. Plus price was too good to pass up :)
The English actors fit their video game character roles pretty well. Especially Matt Hill (Claude) which he is well known for his role as Kira in Gundam Seed. I didn't realize that it was him at first until 2nd time I watched it LOL
if we we're going to get a 2nd season it would have been done years ago... even to this day yes i still wish it would happen but it won't because it's been WAY TOO LONG
if you are a die-hard star ocean: the second story fan yes it's worth owning
But if you want to experience the WHOLE story play either

A similar series that developer Omega Force created Dynasty Warriors: Gundam same concept did OK in Japan but so-so over here in the states
Basically what this is dynasty warriors style gameplay but with a legend of zelda SKIN on it, if game wasn't Nintendo themed probably wouldn't have sold as well as it has (including original wii u & 3DS releases)
I wonder how well a mario themed version would do

do not play on GOW on hardest difficulty

Game is very much enjoyable on NORMAL setting BALANCED that's how I play 90% of my games. Don't want to say too much (SPOILERS) but game has a good story to tell from beginning to end. "give me GOW difficulty" that's for die-hard gamers only. Watched people stream that mode and get way too frustrated 3 hits DEAD.
only really complaint I have is one BOSS that you will see color variants through out the game is a simple CUT & PASTE. let me quote something a buddy of mine said "you can't just BUTTON MASH in this game. Have think about what you're doing" and if a particular BOSS is giving ya trouble just watch their movement patterns and look for an opening to attack

This is mainly for people who don't already own a PS4. I already have original PS4. Bought this for friend during Black Friday week when price was 199 so I got to play around with it and help them set it up
NOTE: internet set up still required before can watch disc movies which is STUPID. PS3 never had to do that. Internet set up should only be required if you plan to A. buy from PSN store or B. plan to play online
Smaller but not by much. Its not like a big improvement to say PS2 slim which was very small. Or say Xbox one S 40% smaller. Other than that just works exactly like original would.
Hard drive access is on the back now VS top on original. Would recommend additional storage because 1 TB will fill up FAST. If you ask me PS4 & Xbox one should have gotten 2 TB hard drives from the start
since PS4 can't play physical PS2 games being able to download HD remasters on PS4 from PS store is a PLUS. Currently about 50 or so titles. Hoping catalog grows over time. Sony did this to COMPETE with Xbox one backwards compatibility with 360 and original XBOX

Been OUT OF PRINT for some time since Bandai Entertainment went out of business. if you watched on Toonami back when the block was originally on Cartoon Network you already know how good the series is. Even for NEW gundam fans its worth watching

Am not a fan of MOTION CONTROL GIMMICK Nintendo needs to let wii FAD go which is why I did not buy super mario bros wii. You can use tablet or pro controller but you can tell joy-cons is how this game was INTENDED to be played
Gameplay I would say is mixture between Mario 64 & super mario bros wii motion controls. The NEW element would be hat mechanic attaching yourself to various enemies to get around to different areas. You can only stay transformed for a LIMITED TIME
what worries me is that I just don't want to see switch become wii 2.0 bought switch for console / portable hybrid concept
