A very thought-provoking movie, set in a future where the transformers are no longer wanted on earth. This movie still has all the action and special effects we have come to know and love before and Mark Wahlberg does a great job in the lead (human) role. Anyone who enjoyed the previous Transformers movies will not want to miss this one.

This is a thoroughly enjoyable film. It has excellent action sequences and special effects as well as good acting by the leads and many of the supporting roles. Although slow to set the background for the movie, once the "life-die-repeat" cycle starts, it is very taut. Excellent film editing keeps the pace moving. Truly fun.

This is a very well made television show: Excellent acting, good single episode plots with a continuing story arc throughout the season. The downside is that there are only 16 episodes in a season and, like most TV series, there is still a question of what will happen next.

Excessive gore mars wonderful film

The second film in Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit" trilogy is full of action and wonderful special effects. Those qualities have come to be expected from this director. What was not expected was the increased gore and fight scenes so drawn out that they seemed to be included just as filler to make the movie's run-time longer. It was an unnecessary distraction.

None of the movies in this collection have much merit in terms of cinematic quality. What they do have is a slice of history: Many people grew up watching these movies at the drive-in or Saturday matinee. Roger Corman is called the "King of the "B" movies" and this collection shows some of the examples of his work.

This is an excellent science fiction movie in terms of plot, characters, and special effects. For those who have read the book, it may inspire some disappointment in that it cannot match the same emotional level as the book: It is simply unable to share the thoughts of the characters. Regardless - this movie is still worth the trip.

Overly long & complex to get to simple truth

A visually attractive film with major actors doing an impressive job of playing different characters in different time periods. I felt that the storylines could have been shown in larger continuous segments to get a better feel of the emotions of each character in each setting. As it was, this movie would shift from time period to time period sometimes showing as little as a single line of dialogue before going to the next era.
The moral of the story is that each person can have an impact that effects other people and other times. Whether this is karmic, or fate, or reincarnation; that the viewer can decide. Ultimately, it is a simple truth and it should not have taken a painful (almost 3 hour) journey to get there.

Sequels are often challenged to be successful. They are compared to the original, which is often tough competition. This movie, by definition of being a sequel, does not have the originality of the first movie. It does, however, do an excellent job of continuing the storyline started in the first. There is still plenty of action and good plot twists to keep the story moving. If you saw the original, you will not be disappointed in this one.

This is a well done, if formulaic, "buddy cop" film presented from the distaff side. Sandra Bullock is hilarious as she turns in a stellar performance. A warning to those with sensitive ears or younger audience members: The use of the "F" word is rampant throughout and, in my opinion, excessive to the plot.
