I guess I can understand why this is rated a 4.5. I thought it was kind of slow to start, but is very good once it gets going. If you watch it more than once, though, knowing the characters, the pace is good from the get go. And the best part, of course, is that the singing acts are amazing. No problem watching this frequently with my toddler.

Seriously, what's to write here. If you're looking at this product, you likely already have a Braun razor. The cartridges work fine and aren't needed nearly as frequently as Braun would lead you to think. All in all, serviceable product, but it's not like you're going to switch brands bc of cleaning cartridges.

The price differential between Echo and Echo Dot is insane. It becomes even more confusing when you plug it in and realize it functions EXACTLY like the original Echo. If you have a good Bluetooth speaker to pair it with, don't waste money on the Echo. Use the savings to buy another Dot for a separate floor of your home or for the voice remote that allows you to control Dot from pretty much anywhere.

When Hue introduced the white-spectrum ambiance bulbs a while ago, I wondered how much value they would add above the normal white bulbs. The answer is: quite a lot. Being able to adjust the warmth of the light is almost as useful as a full color array. They change effects to match scenes just like color bulbs do, though not with the same degree of effect. The best part: they're cheap. I got two for less than I would have paid for one color bulb. Great product lineup keeps getting better.

What else is necessary for the bulb(s) to work with Alarm.com or Blue Iris. Our system has several cameras, is battery back up and uses an independent cell phone. We do have Wi-FI. Thank you.
Unfortunately, Hue does not connect with Alarm.com applications. My house also uses Alarm, but compatible smart home devices must be z-wave capable. Hue does not have that capability. I have the rest of the home on the alarm.com app, and don't find it cumbersome at all to open the Hue app for the lights. This is especially true if you create Hue widgets on you're phone so that you don't need to enter the app to set a scene.
