Added space for Xbox one which only had 500mb internal. Also the USB 3.0 speed is faster than the internal bus speed (per Microsoft ) This would in theory make youroom games load faster. I am loving the space either way.

Yes that charger should be fine. I have used various chargers with various batteries. Charge for a while and see if they get hot. Warm OK hot not so much. Full charge should take 4-6 hours
