The air practically pulses with anticipation and the mood in the arena has reached a fever pitch. This crowd is ready to see a fight, and who are you to deny them? You step into the Octagon, face your opponent, shake hands and it's on. Besides the mean mug staring back at you, everything else fades to black. Your greatest asset is your focus, and it lets you interpret the slightest muscle twitch as a premonition for the swing or kick that's about to come. The circling dance you've been in abruptly ends with two swift jabs and an uppercut that you avoid ~ but just barely. You use his momentum to add even more force to the elbow you swing around and slam into his jaw. The shock of it reverberates up your shoulder and neck. He's still on his feet, but you know you've got what it takes. The crowd will be happy. It's going to be a good fight.Fans of MMA fighting know that no other sport in the world matches the intensity that can be found in this arena. It takes more guts and skill than most people have to be a UFC fighter ~ but EA SPORTS UFC gives the rest of the world a chance by bringing the fight to your PlayStation 4 powered by EA SPORTS Ignite technology. EA SPORTS UFC takes the action, emotion and intensity that can only be found inside the Octagon and combines it with the amazing abilities of this next-generation console for an adrenaline-pumping, heart-pounding, guts-or-glory kind of experience that you won't soon forget. Are you ready to feel the fight?

While I agree this game is bound to further improve with future additions I think the current playable UFC game by EA is extremely successful. It has seamlessly implemented the controls of THQ's undisputed franchise and mad their own tweaks. If you put this game next to any of the fight night titles it blows them out of the water. Then set up EA UFC next to EA's first go at an MMA game and you wouldn't believe this new game was an EA title. You only smash the buttons if you have no concept of following right hand strikes with left hand strikes. If you are a mixed martial arts fan and enjoy the sport you love and appreciate the progress made to date and the intricacies of it then you will get the hang of this game no problem, forget about any perceived flaws and have fun.

People fear the things that they cannot understand. Throughout history, humanity has shown that people who are different, and thus stand out, are often victims of oppression, directed rage and isolation. This type of mob mentality has led certain people with exceptional talents to live a more closeted, private life, as they try to conceal their innate abilities. Imagine a world where these types of individuals no longer have to hide ~ a world where superhumans walk freely among us. Would they be considered gods on earth or would they be treated the same as the average Joes and Janes that walk the streets?Dive into a ruthless Seattle society that hunts down and cages those with extraordinary abilities, such as Delsin Rowe, who has discovered that he is a superhuman and surrounded by hostility and fear everywhere he turns. Use your powers to effectively evade the Department of Unified Protection, an evil organization that is intent on eradicating the anomalies of humanity. Control multiple powers at once by drawing powers out from other superhumans. Watch as the choices you make affect the city, other people and even the story itself. Will you survive this oppressive environment and outlive a tainted, backward society? Or will you succumb to the forces of the D.U.P. and lose your identity? The fate of all superhumans rests in your hands.

Second Son is very much an inFamous game. It doesn’t stray off the series’ beaten path too much, but there are enhancements in terms of gameplay and some stunning effects put to good use to create the PS4′s most fun and best looking game yet.
While the narrative might not have the same impact as previous games, it’s somewhat more of a down-to-earth tale of an ordinary man with extraordinary powers, and that’s an exciting new direction for the series to take.

All it takes is the swipe of a finger. We connect with friends. We buy the latest gadgets and gear. We find out what's happening in the world. But with that same simple swipe, we cast an increasingly expansive shadow. With each connection, we leave a digital trail that tracks our every move and milestone, our every like and dislike. And it's not just people. Today, all major cities are networked. Urban infrastructures are monitored and controlled by complex operating systems. In Watch Dogs, this system is called the Central Operating System (CTOS) ~ and it controls almost every piece of the city's technology and holds key information on all of the city's residents. You play as Aiden Pearce, a brilliant hacker, whose criminal past led to a violent family tragedy. Now on the hunt for those who hurt your family, you'll be able to monitor and hack all who surround you by manipulating everything connected to the city's network. Access omnipresent security cameras, download personal information to locate a target, control traffic lights and public transportation to stop the enemy... and more.

Watch Dogs isn't inspiring or revolutionary, but it's a well-rounded approach to open world gameplay. Completing the story and merely sampling the various side activities can last over thirty hours, with plenty more left to do. The focus on hacking lends to more cerebral gameplay, and the multiplayer is solid.

What's great about it: Engaging Gameplay, best use of a cell phone in a game evar!
What's not so great: Some of the side missions are there for filler.
