Never use it.
We wanted to put the GPS on the dashboard but our Civic has a lot of contouring. The GPS mount really wouldn't work even though the base is flexible.
We also didn't like the idea of affixing the mount to the dash with the adhesive.
If we ever buy another mount, we'll look for the type they have a car rentals.
