This is Miss Davis's movie. Although Denzel W. dominates the film as well as his relationships with his sons and wife, it is definitely her movie. A must see especially as a play by August Wilson and honored with a Pulitzer Prize. Took forever to become a film, but here it is for posterity.

This was just the early beginnings of the war, meaning nobody knows that the war has many years to go. Supposed to be about the conflict involving the south more than the north. Talented case but needs more plot twists.

Great to see another big action movie not based on technology. Dr. Strange is just another Tony Stark without the techies but with magic. Tilda S. gets away with being a patient and intelligent instructor, although the character is supposedly Asian. Can't wait for the sequel.

Just as the Disney live action is about to hit us, this comes out in disc. Although a little late as the film was originally released years ago. This is the French version though. I find the beast to be a little old. But worth the purchase for the visuals which were never overdone. Beauty is played by a good actor.
