I love shane black as a writer. But his writing requires full attention. Put on subtitles and youll enjoy it even more. This is a 70s set movie that FEELS like a 70s movie in the best ways possible. And gosling and crowe are brilliant 2gether.

Truly original horror!

This is a movie that is like a geniously written episode of the twilight zone but in feature length form. If u love the horror qualities of halloween or the shining u will love this on a filmmaking level. Very suspenseful and even if u think u see the ending coming, youll still be rewarded by the ending.

I was hyped for this show bc EASTBOUND AND DOWN is my favorite tv show of all time. The Danny McBride Jody Hill David Gordon Green trifecta of talent and unique sense of humor has always hit me just right. There comedy style matches my sense of humor more than anything else ive ever come across. And while its not for everyone, the people that it IS for will hold this shows humor in extremely high regard. If ur not easily offended and are able to see the humor in the lunacy of these characters pathetic yet sweetly entertaining day to day lives, then this gets my highest recommendation for you to check it out, preferably in a binge watch. Danny McBride has truly done it again with Vice Principals.

Im a horror fan so im more used to remakes than most people. One thing i learned long ago is that once u get the old vs new comparison thought pattern out of your head, the more movies u will enjoy. Remakes very rarely are as good or better than the original but that doesnt mean remakes are all garbage either. My fave horror film is the first Texas Chainsaw Massacre and the remakes, let alone all other horror movies, come up way short in my opinion compared to that. But i dont compare them like that bc if i did i wouldve missed some awesome times at the cinema. Now we have Ghostbusters the remake. I LOVE the original and it was my first movie going memory that i can remember and it was at age 3. So im a huge fan. I went to see this and i looked at it as a completely new movie and didnt compare it to the first 2 and i laughed a LOT. I loved the group dynamic and while the villain couldve been better, chris Hemsworth more than made up for that in his role as the womens secretary. Hilarious. The bluray is packed with features like all of Paul Feigs films since bridesmaids. I recommend this to any comedy fan that can take it for what it is, a funny film with 4 funny ladies and a hilarious chris Hemsworth. And watch the film to the END, past the credits....

I LOVE the iron man movies and guardians of the galaxy but this is the BEST marvel movie 2 date simply bc it was the most true to the source material. Deadpool is an r rated comic that deserved an r rated movie and they delivered on every level!
