When viewing videos online and transferring the image to a tv the picture quality is sub-par. It is cheaper than the Apple TV though if picture mirroring to a tv is what you are using it for.

Will the AV adapter for the ipad 4 work on any HD ready TV?
I have a Sony 1080P LCD Flat Screen TV and I am considering purchasing the AV adapter for the Ipad 4. Is there any special requirements needed to hook the ipad 4 to an HD ready TV as a monitor using the AV adapter?
I use it on my samsung smart tv 7100 series and it works fine. Plug n play...no configuration necessary
