Lord of the Rings was better

This was okay. Technically it has good visuals and 3D. I didn't buy into Thorin's hypnotic obsession so much. The similar possessing of the King of Rohan, Théoden was done more believable in "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers". I'm not saying it's bad, just not as good. The battle sequences were fun to watch. My wife didn't like the movie, but I enjoyed it.

Good replacement for my previous 40" Samsung

I had owned a Samsung LN40A530 previously since about 2006. It finally died and so I wanted to get another 40" to replace it. I saw BB had put this one on sale for $100 off plus I had some Reward Certificates. I checked online at the reviews and they were positive so I bought it. This was for my vacation condo so it is the perfect size and the picture is bright and sharp. I am happy with this TV.

I am a fan of Superhero Movies (done right that is). I don't dig the comic books, but love when they turn them into action movies. This one did not disappoint. The storyline unfolds at a perfect pace up to the climatic ending. My only complaint is the name of one of the characters that starts with a "B" and ends with a "y". Since I didn't read the comic book maybe that is the name of that character. Other than that it was awesome and the visuals stunning 3D. Really cool scenes. Go get it.

I like this movie, but not as much as the original 300. The blood needs to toned down some. Sometimes less is more and would make a better experience if it was toned down to a more realistic effect instead of a video game experience. Overall though it was fun to watch and the 3D was rendered well.

Great 3D experience

I really liked this movie. You have two great actors playing the lead roles and they deliver. The only scene I did not care for was when Clooney had to get cut loose to save Bullock. His line is cut and it's like he is jettisoned into space when in the rest of movie the only way you moved was by way of jet propulsion. It's still a great movie experience though. Any movie that I will enjoy watching more than once is a must buy for me. Recommended.

Klipsch makes great products - period. I own their reference series speakers for my Home Theater and now for my Office PC. They have a great sound and the bass is awesome. I got them on sale with some reward certificates and a gift card. They replaced an old Logitech 5.1 system (that I wasn't using the 5.1 with) so the fact that these are 2.1 didn't matter to me. The only thing I don't care for with these is the 2 desktop speaker's size. They are slightly larger then I would like, but if they were smaller it might take away from the sound quality. I changed the volume/bass control from the right to the left speaker for my convenience. Bottom line is they look good and sound great so go get yourself some!
