No, they will not out perform Duracell or Eveready but 48 batteries for 11 dollars makes my day. They work and I have yet to have a leakage issue with these in prolonged storage in devices. (Don't do that by the way...leave batteries in a device for a long time without use!) Kirkland brand from Costco have leaked on me plenty in flashlights. I no longer buy them!

It really is perfect. It's a dedicated product made by the same company who's product it fits. Just way way way too expensive. For what it is ....it really should be supplied with the Paperwhite. Or if I were to assign a price point, I would go for $14.99. At $39.99...way to much!!!
Bottom line, it works and looks great. Protects the Kindle from most small falls but costs half as much as the entry Kindle

Did exactly what we needed it to do

Not much to say except we had a few older devices that used a serial interface that needed firmware updates, and our new computers did not have a serial interface. This cable solved those issues and the new computers could talk to the older devices and all is well in the world.
