This release captures all 23 episodes from the first season of the hit DC Comics adaptation following the fast-paced adventures of The Flash, the speedy alter ego of Central City crime scene investigator Barry Allen. The first season traces the origin story of the world's fastest man, who gains his powers after an advanced particle accelerator malfunctions and blankets the city in a mysterious form of radiation. Barry is blessed with superhuman speed thanks to his exposure to the radiation, but he isn't the only one with newfound powers. Although "The Flash" dedicates himself to fighting crime, many of Barry's fellow "metahumans" are on the other side of the law and determined to use their powers to terrorize the citizens of Central City. Keeping the city safe is a big job, but Barry also makes time to investigate his mother's murder, a crime which happened 14 years earlier and resulted in the wrongful conviction of his father.

If you watch Arrow, you probably watch Flash. It is the same formula with similar character types but it is not as brooding. This TV version of the Flash is fun, optimistic and true to the basic premise of the current comic book rendition. It is full of Easter Eggs from the comics but not too much where everyone can't enjoy it. Now with Supergirl on CW and the Legends of Tomorrow going a second season I have to ask, why wasn't Constantine brought back? Sorry, this is not the review for that topic.
This release features the complete third season of the CW superhero series Arrow following billionaire Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell), a vigilante archer, dedicated to ending the corruption and crime that plagues the streets of Starling City.

I have always been a Green Arrow fan, even before everyone else rediscovered him. This show is a good action TV show with its share of fanboy moments. You have to remind yourself that this is a CW show, so get ready for the dose of teen angst. Overall, I never thought I would ever see an enjoyable TV version of the Emerald Archer. I think even Mike Grell might like it.

If you are a fan of The Monkees from their introduction on TV in the 60's or their reintroduction on MTV in the 80's, you have seen them release albums in the past few decades that cause you not to admit to being a fan. This album will make you say, "Hey, I kinda like The Monkees." They have kept the same happy rhythms but with a more refined writing format. With songs writing by some of today's best alternative band members from Weezer and Death Cab for Cutie, they have found a great mix. Also Micky and Mike still sound good together.

Everyone must have this in their collection. It is what TV should be and how TV shows should be produced. Everyone, even David Schwimmer is amazing in this mini series. "Uncle Sam wants you to BUY IT!"

OK, more Smallville than Homicide but you get the idea. Take away the horrid acting of Jada Pickett Smith and the show is a fun ride. Robin Lord Taylor as the Penguin is the breakout role. Also Donal Logue is always a good addition to any program. Also, also Sean Pertwee IS the Alfred for today! He kicks more butt than anyone else on the show. Holy Bad@$$ Butler, Batman!!!!!

As stated in the Summary Line, if you are not looking to take out a loan for a good TV, than this is the one. The word of caution I have is be patient with the Vizio Cast setup and App also be ready to find the solutions on your own. Their tech support is dismal and slow to respond. Well, you get what you pay for.

Ok, so technically this story is the first because it is a prequel but "The Hobbit" is exactly what every LOTR fan was expecting. This is a very good set with all the extras the fanboys and fangirls need. I have been a fan of Martin Freeman since the original version of "The Office" and I have always wanted to see him in a lead role. He does a great job grasping the role but making it his own. I don't and will not convince you to buy this set because if you are looking at this set you will buy it no matter what I write. "I am looking for someone to share in an adventure that I am arranging, and it's very difficult to find anyone."

Being a comic book geek for years now and a huge fan of Batman TAS and the JL series, I am always picking up these straight to DVD (Blu-Ray) DCU movies. I will say if you are the same level of fan as I am, you need to see this movie. DCU has not really disappointed me so far.

Why did I spend the my hard earned money on this (hemorrhaging turkey of a franchise) movie when I should have waited to pick it up for $3 on a big Best Buy "Please Buy This Movie Because It Is Taking Up Space On Our Shelves" Sale?!!!
