Had an issue with the microwave oven interfering with Xbox when it was connected through wireless. The devices are easy to install and work great!!! Best Buy and the manufacturer need to advertise more for this product. Only by chance did I come across an article describing this product. Competitively priced. Purchased two of these drives and configured in a RAID 1 set with Microsoft Storage Spaces Windows 8.1, then Windows 10.
WD software does not run when configured in a Windows software RAID set. WD needs to update their software in order for their software to run when configured in a Windows RAID configuration.

I need something to send internet to a guest house 800ft away. If i have a cable with no splitters in it to the guest house would this work for gaming and streaming?
The dual pack comes with installation directions, a cable splitter if needed and should work. The devices use the cable to send/receive information and co-exists with cable/internet information. You will need a router that has an Ethernet connection where your cable is connected to your modem. The second Moca will be connected at your guest house and can will connect you Ethernet device through the MoCA.
Yes, it will work for gaming and streaming. I use it with my Xbox for gaming and watching videos. Works much better than when the Xbox was connected through wireless.
