Who can resist a Christopher Nolan film these days? It is easy to see that every film he creates is a true investment of his energy, time, and genius. This movie is no exception. Although the movie is longer than any movie he's created, not a minute is wasted. The intricate story is magnified through the epic and ambitious platform on which the movie is told. The acting is superb from all parties, and yet again Nolan leaves us with movie that continues to stay in our minds long after the credits have concluded. Even if you're not a science-fiction fan, this movie is well worth your time!

Should have been better

The results of the 2003 Academy Awards speak volumes about this film. It is clearly ambitious. It had all of the ingredients to make an incredible movie with Scorsese and Day-Lewis. However, not all of the cylinders were firing in perfect harmony. The movie is way to long for the story it is trying to tell, and the best parts of the movie are it's beginning and ending. With 10 Oscar nominations in 2003 and not one win among them....well, enough said.
