Fantastic Remaster of an already great game

This game was for my son actually, and he absolutely loves it. He had the PS3 version and played hundreds of hours on it (despite the bugs and frame rate issues). The game must have held his interest, because he actually spent his own money getting this version and is talking about getting the Nintendo Switch version as well. It's rare for a game to hold his interest for this long.
The graphic overhaul is simply stunning, especially outdoors. The lighting effects and detail in the water are breathtaking. The dungeons and interior areas do not seem to benefit quite as much by the upgrade, but still look better than the PS3 version. The framerate is the biggest improvement. Anyone who played the PS3 version knows that the game would sometimes play like a slide show. He hasn't noticed any slowdown on this version and has quite a few hours in it already.

I purchased two of these actually. My daughter's cord (Apple brand) did the exact same Thing as mine...came apart near the lightening port. Those cords that come with the iPad and iPod touch are of terrible quality. We have had these now in use for several weeks and they work great. They seem to be made sturdier than the ones made by Apple. Great product thus far.

Ink runs out much too quickly

The cartridge works fine, but the ink runs out much too quickly. You are much better off paying the extra for the XL version.. The XL version seems to last through more than double the prints. Definitely a better bang for your buck.

You can download google cardboard app and use it for visiting a few landmarks, riding a great rollercoaster, etc. I use it mostly for watching movies.
