Aoi Hiiragi's manga about a schoolgirl's adventures with a very unusual feline comes to the screen in this witty anime feature. Haru is a girl who one day saves the life of a cat while on her way to school. To her surprise, Haru learns she came to the rescue of no ordinary cat -- the kitty introduces her to the Kingdom of the Cats, where the feline potentate attempts to arrange a marriage between her and his son. Brought into a world he never knew existed, Haru learns a few lessons about herself as he discovers more about the strange and magical secret world of the cats. Neko No Ongaeshi (aka The Cat Returns) was released in the United States with a dubbed soundtrack featuring the voice talents of Anne Hathaway, Andy Richter, Tim Curry, Peter Boyle, and Elliott Gould.

First off, I am already a big fan of Studio Ghibli - such films as Princess Mononoke and Totoro. This one leans more in the vein of Totoro - much lighter than Nausicaa and such.
This movie has a female lead that is unsure of herself, but grows stronger as the movie progresses with the help of a cat figure that has come to life.
I would highly suggest this movie for your kids - especially if they have a love/appreciation of cats.

For these sorts of epics, I am always disappointed by the imposed limit of 2 hours or so on a movie. In this, with the extended scenes, you really get a deeper appreciation of the story. I wish they would put versions like this in theaters.

Personally, I am not a big fan of my ES7 printer as the printer head gets plugged up constantly. That said, this ink cartridge fits in, posts and does its job without the issues I have had with bargain brands.

My ears are unusually large, and so the more expensive rap around ear buds simply do not work or fall out. These go in, are comfortable and do the job. Also, since I often listen to something while working, it is actually a plus for me that they do not totally block out the noise around me - I would say about a 60% reduction.
