this product claims "write speeds up to ten times faster"
I have the Sandisk Cruzer 2.0 --this Sandisk 3.0 claims to have "write speeds up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0" what does this mean ---does it literally mean that you can key words/write 10 times faster?
Read and write speeds are based on reading(accessing) files from the drive and writing(saving) files to the drive. USB 3.0 is up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0 provided you plug the usb into a usb 3.0 port on your computer. USB 3.0 ports are a standard blue color but usb 3.0 drives are backwards compatible with usb 2.0
