LG Top loading washer

I love it! It does take longer to wash everything though. Even with the turbo wash. I haven't tried the steam function yet. Its quiet, can do large loads and the choices are endless for what ever my washing needs are. I was surprised when the delivery man demo'd the machine for me because it plays these pleasant melodic chime tunes when you turn it on, select function, and when the load is done. So does the dryer. There is very bright lighting display, almost a little too bright, I wish there was a control to lower it a bit. All of the functions are as described. Its a great machine and I'm happy I bought it. The other brands drum was a real hard reach for me, but I can reach in to the bottom with this one.

I love it! It dries everything through beautifully. Its quiet, can do large loads and the choices are endless for what ever my drying needs are. Sensor drying and wrinkle guard is great to have. I was surprised when the delivery man demo'd the machine for me because it plays these pleasant melodic chime tunes when you turn it on, select function, and when the load is done. I love the drying/ sneaker rack. Didn't buy a machine with a rack when I bought my very first dryer because of our budget. A regret i lived with for 20 years while raising 3 children. So tweak your budget and buy a dryer with one the first time ,you wont regret it! I haven't tried the steam function yet , but hope its great.

Dryer vent tubing too short

I would not have purchased it if I had not had to buy it for my purchase delivery fee to be free and the protection plan would not be valid and the plan would not cover my machine for any problems. That is not fair. I had perfectly good venting. If it did not affect my protection plan I wouldn't have had to purchase it.
Now the product. The reviews I read afterward said it helps reduce the drying time for my LG dryer. That's great but the vent length was too short to make it to my outside vent! So the Best Buy delivery set up person adapted it to half of my current vent. Now, I'm not sure it measures up to the reviews as it is a half and half system. Best Buy delivery person assured me my protection plan was valid and there would not be any problems if I had to place a claim in the future. They better.

Dryer venting

I did not review this before purchase. I had to buy it or my purchase delivery was not free and the protection plan would be valid. Otherwise, the plan would not cover my machine for any problems. That is not fair. I had a perfectly good hose that could have been used. If it did not affect my protection plan I wouldn't have had to purchase it.. The hoses are good if youre looking to replace old ones.

This dryer cord is required for successful hook-up of your new appliance. Our delivery personnel will determine whether a 3- or 4-prong cord is needed based on the outlet behind your existing dryer.

Its an electrical cord. I had to buy it even though I had one for my electrical outlet that matched my dryer, so that my delivery was free and my warranty valid. Other wise, Best Buy would not take care of my machine under protection plan in the future if I had problems. I think that unfair to force someone to buy a new part for that reason when the one I had was perfectly good. I would recommend the plug to someone who needs a new cord under different circumstances.
