The ultimate open world experience

Easy to get lost in the world created this game and is definitely one of my favorite open world RPGs. However, on the ps3 there are some issues with framerate drops and feels a little glitchy at times. If you're playing on consoles, I would recommend the Xbox 360 version. For me at least, it ran much smoother. Music is incredible and you will never run out of things to do in this game.

Probably the most important thing to say is make sure that you have friends to play with, it makes the game a lot more fun. The matchmaking is still a little rough so relying on that is fairly frustrating experience. Leveling up to 30 is a lot of fun and will take about 15-20 hours. The endgame is currently pretty boring and broken. A lot of glitches and issues need to be resolved before this game can really become anything more than average.

I played MGS4 and loved it, to an extent I enjoyed this one even more. The only thing I didn't like about MGS4 was how many cinematics there were. However, now they have scaled that back, and sometimes it almost feels like too much. I play and wish there were more cutscenes at times. However, this is still a great game. Managing your base is addictive and makes those side missions fun to do. Definitely one of the best games of the year.

The original game was my first one for 360 and it felt fresh and new. The original game is now over 9 years old and there's still something refreshing about playing it. There are issues with your AI characters, I played through on hardcore mode and most of the time, my teamates were downed and asking for revives. If you play with a co-op partner, it would go much smoother I would imagine. The graphics look great and the re-cut cinematics are nice and still make it feel fresh. It had been such a long time since a played the first gears that the experience felt somewhat new still. I thoroughly enjoyed my time going through this again and will be spending a lot of time in multiplayer.

It felt like Netherealm really got on track with the series with Mortal Kombat 9, and have improved on that formula with 10. They introduced a number of new characters which is refreshing. The only downside is the main story of the game is short and really doesn't tell the background of the new characters. Most people don't care about the story of the games, but Netherealms did a great job in both MK 9 and Injustice telling a good story, which is why I think it matters to mention that issue. Combat is tight and fluid with a nice balance overall. A definite buy for anyone who is a fan of this type of genre.

Yes, it comes with 4. However, what you should keep in mind is that you have to have 4 batteries in the charger for it to activate the charge. I have 4 extra batteries that I use to keep the rotation going.
