Would've Been Five Stars But...

I'm not a fan of the packaging. They did the same thing with their US release of the Harry Potter 4K package, and I skipped out on that for the UK import instead. I'm happy to have the films in stunning 4K; They look and sound impeccable. INTERSTELLAR, DUNKIRK, THE DARK KNIGHT and THE DARK KNIGHT RISES are all reference quality. This set also does not include the digital copies of the films, which is a huge bummer, and I'm baffled as to why that decision was made by WB. Great films that look and sound from good to great, all here, but in mediocre packaging without digital copies. I say... If you can get the individual releases during a sale for cheaper than the box set, then do that but if the box set financially makes more sense, not the worst investment you could make, as long as you're okay with having no digital copies.

This is the definitive release for A FEW GOOD MEN. I love this film, and it's never looked better than in 4K HDR on my 65 inch OLED. Stunning audio and video presentation that ranks amongst the best in the format. Certainly one of the best 35mm 4K transfers I've seen thus far on the format. Flawless presentation for a wonderful film. So glad to own it in 4K.

Beautiful steelbook package for a stunning masterpiece. Worth every penny. The 4K video/audio presentation is awe-inspiring and perfect. Some decent extras here but not too much. This film will have a long afterlife and I'm thrilled to own it in a definitive 4K steelbook package. Highly recommended!

Fun little movie

I'm a big Jarmusch fan and I really like this film. It's a film that's like a good record, you can just put it on in the background and get things done. The picture and audio quality are quite solid surprisingly. It's a grainy black and white film shot on 35 so it isn't going to look clean and I love it. True to the source. Recommended for Jarmusch fans but I don't know how into this newcomers of his work will be.

Wonderful addition to the Star Trek franchise

I love the first Trek, I like Into Darkness but I like this one a lot, probably more than 2 and not as much as 1. Terrific movie though. Director Justin Lin did a wonderful job here and he made what really felt like the first Star Trek film that felt like an episode of Star Trek. The audio and picture quality are absolutely top notch. While Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness were, in fact, remastered in native 4K for their UHD releases and shot on 35mm film, Star Trek Beyond was shot digitally in 3.4K digital on Arri Alexa. The film was ultimately mastered in 2K and the same goes for the vfx, 2K, and to my knowledge, they upscaled the 2K master for the UHD, so, IMO, this 1080 blu-ray release is the better choice over the 2160 UHD (Fake 4K) and cheaper.

I fell in love with this film almost immediately upon seeing it in theaters. There's SOME features but the audio and picture quality are perfect. This was shot in 2.8K and finished in 2K with whatever special effects they had also done at 2K so this is the release to get even if it ever gets a UHD release...

Doug Liman did an amazing job with this film. Easily ranks among Cruise's best action films. This blu ray looks and sounds incredible. The movie was mastered in 2K with its effects finished in 2K as well so if a UHD release comes out, it isn't worth it... Get THIS!
