But a subsequent investigation into the incident forces Sully to defend his actions when simulations indicate that he could have made it to one of two airports. Director Clint Eastwood's gripping true story, based on Sullenberger's memoir, also stars Aaron Eckhart, Laura Linney, Anna Gunn.
