Does this allow you to back up photos directly from a card without a computer? I am going on a trip abroad and am not bringing my computer. I want to back up the photos I take from the card directly to a device. Thank you.
Unfortunately no you will still need a pc of some type. I use my surface tablet to transfer all my photos and video from my GoPro cameras. I just pull the micro card and put it in my surface tablet then cut and paste to my passport drive

When I am at my kickboxing class does my phone have to be near me for the Fitbit blaze to read my calories burned? Thats why I don't have the Iwatch
No you can leave your phone at home and when you get back to your phone it will sync and upload your data

Are you able to put any pic as a background image?
Nope you can choose between the 4 already loaded but they may add more when they update the firmware.
