Crushed by installer. Weak material.

The vent looked good, but the Best Buy installer crushed the tube during installation and didn't tell me. He also failed to turn the gas valve back on. In order to use the dryer I had to pull out the washer and reach behind the dryer to turn the gas valve on. While doing this I noticed the vent had been half way caved in during the installation. I called the Geek Squad since I have a service contract, but they refused to send someone to fix it. Instead they tried twice to transfer me to the warehouse that they said should handle the repair. I was transferred into oblivion the first time, and the second time I was assured the Geek Squad would stay on the phone line until I was put thru to the warehouse. Thirty minutes later I was still listening to the message about how great Best Buy is, NOT! It still needs repair. I'm just curious to see if anyone actually reads any of these reviews at a Best Buy and will take action. I doubt it.

This 27" wide pedestal will allow you to lift your Samsung front-load washer or dryer to a more convenient height and will allow more storage with the easily accessible storage drawer.

Poor design.

The pedestal is poorly constructed, and the clips at the top used for closing off the pedestal are cheap and ugly. They don't fit well and make the pedestal look cheap. I would not recommend this pedestal to anyone!

This gas line is required for successful hook-up of your new dryer in your home. Our delivery personnel will determine what type of gas line is needed based on your local housing code.

The gas line appears to be of good quality and the installer had no issues with it, except he forgot to turn on the gas valve after setting the dryer in place. I notified Best Buy via a survey, but they ignored my complaint. Called the a Geek Squad and was transferred twice into oblivion.

Washer spin cycle does not do a good job. Clothes are often really wet and there is no way to do an additional spin if you don't select it at the beginning.
