We needed a counter depth refrigerator, and discovered most stores have 3 or fewer on display. BestBuy was the only store in our area to have this particular refrigerator on display, but it was not in stock. We waited over a month for it to be ordered and delivered. Since our old refrigerator was still working, it was well worth the wait. This refrigerator seems to hold more than our old refrigerator. I love the ice maker in the door and the showcase feature. I am happy with the way the shelves are arranged and do not mind that the shelves cannot be adjusted. I rarely rearranged a shelf in any of our previous refrigerators.

How long does it take to start cooling/freezing?
Just bought this refrigerator, and I don't feel any cold in either freezer or refrigerator sections. I call Samsung customer service and they told it takes 24hrs (installer said 5-6 hrs). My concern is that the digital temp display shows -8 deg F (I set it to 34 deg F), but it actually feels warm inside when I open refrigerator. To me there's something wrong, even if it takes 24hrs, I should feel some level of coldness after 5 hrs now.
After 5 hours our refrigerator was cold.
