I had thought this was a 4-foot cable when I purchased it. Nope. It's 4-inches. I still make a point to use it whenever I need to recharge the device from one of my battery backups. As I carry it around with me, it definitely doesn't take up much space. The cable has been very durable to date.

I purchased this wireless mouse when Best Buy had it on sale for $8. My son uses it a lot on my 2-in-1 laptop. We haven't had to replace the batteries on it yet. It would be nice if the power light indicator was on the top of the mouse instead of the underside if only to let me know more easily when my son has forgotten to turn off the mouse.

We had a hard time keeping track of the individual micro USB recharging cables we had to use to keep our controllers charged so my son suggested we purchase this recharging kit. I let him set it up when we got home. It doesn't take up much room on the end table and the green light lets you know when both controllers are fully recharged. Now to find some time to play games together! :)

About the quality
Hi, I have bought this mouse in September and used for just one month.Unfortunately, the middle wheel goes broken....Is there any quality guarantee for this product?
You should contact HP and see if they'd be willing to swap out the unit for you if Best Buy isn't willing to do that for you. I believe most accessories only have a 30-day warranty, so you might be out of luck, sorry. If anything, all the better for Best Buy to encourage you to pay for their extended support/warranty option.

Is there any software available
Is there any software available, I know standard software is installed in all computers for the Mouse. Other Mice products have more functioning software.
Software wasn't included with this mouse. I plugged its adapter into my Samsung 2-in-1 running Windows 8.1 and it recognized it immediately. I haven't tried it in any systems with older OS at this time, sorry. Hope this helps!

what does the light at the bottom of the mouse do
The light lets you know that the batteries are still working and/or that the mouse is turned on (ie using battery power).
