I originally bought a cable modem/router combination from best buy but the wireless router in it started to fail after a few months (i.e. wifi speeds were slow and dropped quickly the farther away I got). I turned off the router function from the combo and used this router instead. Now my wifi speeds are 100% right next to the router, 100% in the next room, and maybe dropping to 95% if I go farther away. It can reach to all but the farthest rooms in the house. I haven't had to reboot it in the last two months that we've used it. Great product, much better than the combo's!
