My wife and I had originally had our purchase of the new washer and dryer narrowed down between this one and the Samsung. We went with the Samsung and within a day had it recalled. Best Buy made the swap with no problems.
With that said, we are glad that it happened that way. We are completely satisfied with the purchase of our LG's. The washer is huge and washes all the clothes with no issues so far. We had read that clothes don't always come out clean but we have no had any issues with this either. The reason we went with a top load opposed to a front load is due to the cleaning and maintaining of the front load. Our old one used to get nasty because the water would sit in the rubber seal and sit causing a smell. This LG does not have this issue since it is a top load. Great purchase. Would recommend for anyone.

Installed great but.....

When the installers ran the initial cycle they left the manual inside the machine... huge mess and who knows what other issues we will have. My wife had to clean up shredded wet manual papers stuck to washing machine inside... brand new and already messed up. And this was our replacement for that wonderful Samsung washer that was recalled. When my wife called customer service to let them know about what had happened, they responded with "oh that is okay, you can just download the manual online and have that for future reference". Yeah, no way.. That wasn't the reason for the call Best Buy... We shouldn't have to mess with cleaning out our brand new washer because the clowns sent to install threw the manual into the drum, ran the washer, and left us with the mess... Very dissapointing..
