G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra - BLU-RAY

Single disc. The "Real American Hero" goes international with this big-screen action film. Stephen Sommers (THE MUMMY) directs this live-action adventure featuring a huge cast of stars, including Dennis Quaid, Channing Tatum, Marlon Wayans, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Sienna Miller. Ray Park, who made his name playing Darth Maul in THE PHANTOM MENACE, takes on the role of Snake Eyes.

G.I. JOE: RISE OF COBRA

I HAVE SEEN ALMOST EVERY SCI FI AND A COLLECTION OF 200 DVD'S AND I BELIEVE THIS RATED IN THE UPPER 20%. THIS MOVIE HAD GREAT SPECIAL EFFECTS AND WAS IN A FUTURE WORLD. I WAS NOT EXPECTING THIS TO BE IN THE FUTURE WHICH MADE IT A PLEASANT SURPRISE. THE ACTING WAS GOOD AND THE SPECIAL EFFECTS LEFT YOU IN AWE, ALTHOUGH AT TIMES IT WAS HARD TO BELIEVE UNTIL YOU REALIZED THAT THIS WAS THE FUTURE AND ANYTHING COULD BE POSSIBLE.
I ALSO BELIEVE THIS LEFT YOU WITH A REALIZATION THAT IF YOU DIDN'T TAKE CARE OF THE PLANET THIS FUTURE COULD BE VERY POSSIBLE.

What's great about it: GREAT SPECIAL EFFECTS, ENDING LEFT TELLING YOU THAT THERE WAS GOING TO BE A SEQUEL

What's not so great: THIS DEFINITELY IS NOT FOR THE YOUNG BECAUSE OF VIOLENCE, LANGUAGE, AND NUDITY

BATTLESTAR GALACTICA RAZOR

THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST EPISODES OF THIS SCIFI SERIES. IT KEEPS YOU GLUED TO THE TUBE WHILE IT IS PLAYING AND IF THE FUTURE EPISODES OF BSG ARE IS GOOD IT WILL BE A GREAT SHOW. I AM UPSET THIS IS LAST SEASON AFTER ONLY 4 YEARS. WHAT WAS REALLY GOOD WAS THEIR EXPLANATION OF THINGS THAT WERE CONFUSING DURING SERIES.

What's great about it: ONE OF BEST FROM THE BSG SERIES.

What's not so great: TOO SHORT-COULD HAVE EASILY BEEN A MINI SERIES
