All HDMI cables are not created equal. If using a 3D UHD TV setup, you'll want to spend the extra money for such a high quality 3D rated HDMI cable. Yes, you can find a less expensive HDMI cable at Best Buy online or in-store but these rated cables have never given me a single problem. And unlike other cables they don't seem to stop working all of a sudden.

I bought the plug-in model to replace an old model that came with my unit. The wiring harness needs to be checked before your install to make sure you have the proper plug for the kind of wiring you have. Most smoke alarm wiring connectors are similar but never install before you check that. The app install was seamless and found my Nest right away and ran tests successfully.
