This 2-slice toaster features extra-wide slots that accept thick bagels, breads or pastries and a manual high-lift lever to quickly remove items. A removable crumb tray allows easy cleanup.

Three's A Charm!

The first two toasters did not toast bread evenly on each side. The results were almost as if I had pushed the 'BAGEL' button!
I returned the 1st toaster to local Best Buy without any problems, and ordered the 2nd. That toaster did slightly better, but I've had much cheaper toasters do a better job.
I decided to use the KitchenAid warranty provisions instead of traveling to our local Best Buy store. I called KitchenAid customer service for a replacement which was promptly received. Toaster #2 was returned with the prepaid UPS return label.
Finally success! Toaster #3 is a keeper!

Easy to install and performs as advertised!
A very easy method to avoid running speaker wires under the carpet or along the baseboard to power the rear speakers. To my ears, the sound is very good, no noticeable difference from when my system was installed in our other house with quality speaker wire. Very happy.
