Recently divorced news reporter Nathan Miller (Will Arnett) plans to enjoy a carefree life as a bachelor as Season 1 of the sitcom about a dysfunctional family begins. But Nathan's dreams are thwarted when his parents' marriage starts to unravel and he's forced to let his overbearing mother Carol (Margo Martindale) move in with him, while his dad Tom (Beau Bridges) moves in with Nathan's sister (Jayma Mays). Nathan tries to get his parents back together, but the two refuse to reconcile. Nathan then resorts to finding his meddling mom a date via an Internet dating site. As for Tom, he starts seeing a much younger woman, but Nathan fears she's nothing more than a gold digger.

For someone who loved the show when it was on the release of the series has been a great thing. Although I don't know why they can only release one season a year, get with it and release them every couple months instead of having to wait a year between releasing seasons. Also why didn't they put extras on the dvd like deleted scenes, comentary with the cast, and other fun things.
