Guilty pleasure gets 4K upscale

This is the Edward Norton HULK and I must admit it is a guilty pleasure. While not a complete 4K restoration it certainly does improve upon the 10 year old blu-ray. Is it corny at times? Yes! Should the military be allowed to drive tanks and other vehicles on a college campus? Of course not! But with dtsX and a 4K picture it certainly looks and sounds great. I personally would give it 5 stars but then again it is a guilty pleasure.

While the violence and subject matter may be unsettling for some, those that have this movie in their collection will probably want to upgrade it, especially while Best Buy has it on sale.

MUST OWN 4K DEMO DISC

You know the story, so I'm going to review the disc only. Demo picture and sound quality so use it to show off your 4K system. One small caveat, there are a few minutes that the director has chosen to use the widescreen aspect ration instead of the academy 70MM IMAX ratio. In light of this your may want to set your screen for IMAX instead of 2.2:1. Best Buy had this title on sale last week and in my opinion the air fight scenes alone were worth the price.

First this is an upscaled 2K to 4K disc and may not be worth the upgrade if already owned. Since it was not in my collection I opted for the on sale 4K version. I cannot wholeheartedly recommend this version to a friend. Second, regarding the movie, while I did not feel that it had the story or the charm of the first, it certainly was an improvement over the second. Action lovers, you will not be disappointed.

What in the world did people do before you had replaceable air filters? What would happen to the air in your refrigerator if it was not replaced every six months? I know if I put diced or sliced onions inside they still smell up the refrigerator. I replace the filter just in case it really does something and to put an end to the replace now light that goes on each time the door opens to remind you that it needs replacement, Just to play devil's advocate where does all this bad air come from?

It's a water filter that must be replaced every six months and your refrigerator will let you know by constantly blinking. Best Buy will price match so I strongly encourage you to do your homework. Make sure you follow directions and run about 2 gallons through it after replacement to get all the air out of the line.

I understand Ridley Scott supervised this 4k transfer and will not upgrade any other version so hold on to your 5-Disc Blu-ray Complete Collector's Edition if you like another cut better.
