The stock rubber suction cup mount for the Garmin is a joke. The suction lasts about 15 minutes and then the unit topples off the dash onto the floor. This Portable Auto Friction Mount for Select Garmin GPS stays put.

Several of friends have Garmins and I thought I would not benefit from one since I don't drive much anymore. Wrong. I've discovered that turning it on while driving in the city has shown me shortcuts I never would have imagined.
