I'd been thinking of taking up the bass for some time. The stars lined up this past fall, and I picked up the SB10 from Archer through Best Buy. Shipping was much faster than expected, but being close to the distributer sped things up. I've been using this in conjunction with the Rocksmith 2014 "game"/learning tool. and while my skill level has improved in recent months, I'd like to focus on the quality of this instrument.
The guitar arrived well-enough protected from UPS. The finish is good, the neck is smooth. The fretboard is good. The fret wires wires could have been smoothed a bit, but as I would find with form, the hand should not really come in contact that closely. . I found that it holds a tune pretty well.
I have had this since September. I have had no complaints with it. The sound quality is good through Rocksmith, or my amp. It stays in tune. Overall, this has been a very good starter instrument. I'm happy with the quality, and the deal that I got.
What's great about it: Quality for value
What's not so great: Fret wires are a little rough on the edges

At its price, the Dynex 400W PSU appears to have a quality advantage over some of the economy line PSU's of the same power. It also has the convenience of purchase at retail stores. Upon opening the box, the cables seem well protected, and have a good aesthetic feel and appearance. However, this does not translate well into the internal components. Despite the packaging and the good reputation of Best Buy, this particular product fails to deliver as advertised.
While the price has decreased, the performance is still on par (or below) its peers in the economy line. This unit will work for entry level low-use, non-modified systems. If one is looking for "economy" I would recommend looking elsewhere. If one is looking for "quality", then I would steer them to Thermaltake, or Corsair for a more reliable product. It's unfortunate that the Best Buy reputation earns this sub-par component a price that misleads the consumer into believing that the quality is greater than it actually can deliver.
It is interesting to note that the 400W and 450W units have performed almost identically, despite the rating difference.
What's great about it: The appearance
What's not so great: The price and the quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
