I was just playing the Xbox LIVE beta verision and it was almost just like the old one. Almost the same ranks, prestiges and game variants. Only things different are the maps and weapons. Not a lot. But just cause the Xbox LIVE is OK doesn't mean the storyboard baseline won't be good. Nobody knows if it's goog, great or plain bad. We'll have to find out when it comes out.
What's great about it: graphics, fun and the xbox live.
What's not so great: the Call of Duty series already HAS WWII as a story baseline.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What A Suprise

Battlefield is a great game series until Battlefield 2 came out. I hated #2. So I was expecting this game to be a step higher in fun, skill level, and graphics. I was wrong. The graphis are great, the skill level is just right, the levels aren't too long, the little humor makes the game enjoyable, and the freedom you have. You can do almost anything in this game.
The xbox live is also really good, but you don't get to pick your team, which can be a bad thing. The graphics are almost identical to the campaign mode too.
So I would reccomend this game to kids 12 years or older that like military games, and some humor. And one more thing, the language isn't too rough, they say s*** very rarely, so the strong language isn't to rough.
What's great about it: some humor, graphics, unique features, live,
What's not so great: getting used to the controls
I would recommend this to a friend!

Should I get an Xbox360?

Hi! I still have my PS2 and have not bought a new console since. I am looking to either purchase a PS3 or an Xbox360. I have been a loyal sony customer since the original Playstation and have not bought another system. I was really close in buying a PS3 because of the Metal Gear Solid 4/PS3 package. Right now I'm comparing exclusive console games between the two and so far it looks like I'm leaning towards the 360 because of the upcoming release of Gears of War 2. However, I do have some concerns with the infamous "red ring of death." Aside from it's exclusive titles, I would like a console that still works in the long run. Also, I'm not really huge with downloading demos, so would the $199 Arcade edition suffice? or Should I just get the Pro for an extra $100? Another concern I have are the batteries of the wireless controller. Are they batteries which constantly need to be purchased and replaced? Or are the controllers like the PS3 controllers where you just plug it to your console to recharge while you're away? Anyone have any thoughts and/or suggestions? Any pros or cons would definitely help with my decision making. Thanks!
I was in the same situation as you. I was a loyal sony fan too, but I hear that the PS3 also has problems too. It heats up quickly because of the Blu-Ray and extreme graphics. But the Xbox 360 has problems too. It also heats up, BUT microsoft made a cooling fan that sticks in the back ( and un-noticable ) to keep it cool. So I would go for the Xbox 360 because there's a new update coming out soon that will blow sony and their PS3 out the door.
As for controllers. The Pro package comes with a wireless controller that needs two AA bateries about every month or two. But microsoft made a chargeable batery ($20 per pack) that has the same consept as the PS3's. Personelly, I like the Xbox 360's controller better becuse it's not too small like the PS3's, and the trigger is more firm and not "squishy" like the PS3's controller. So xbox 360 wins here.
Also, there are so many members on Xbox LIVE ( a multiplayer computer-gaming network that connects you to people all over the world and you can text them, play with them, if you buy an Xbox LIVE vision camera, you can have a video chat, and you can talk to them ) that it's easy to make a friend.
So Xbox 360 is the better console!
