Crock-Pot 6-Quart Programmable Cook & Carry Slow Cooker is the perfect programmable slow cooker for those with a busy, on-the-go lifestyle. Its large capacity ensures that everyone gets enough to eat, and its portability makes it a great choice for travel. The secure-fitting lid and locking system create a tight seal between the stoneware and lid.

Great Simple Slow Cooker

This is a great appliance for what it is: a simple, portable slow cooker. Works great! It has limited programming capabilities (high or low, and with preset durations and no ability to customize timing). Lid lock works great and would be awesome for taking to potlucks or game days!

Great working monitor, as expected!

Dell again makes a great monitor. This one compliments my Surface Book perfectly with its aesthetic and its performance is what you'd expect from Dell. Full 4K, great connectivity. My SB2 can push it via a USB-C -> HDMI adapter without issue at full 60Hz refresh.
I can't speak for the gaming side, but there are options in the menu to go to "extreme" refresh rate which I can only assume would be a gamer's dream :)
I spend most of my day looking at text on the screen and it's razor sharp and I've had no issues with connectivity coming out of sleep, etc.
Great monitor!

Great attachments, effective, but batteries??

It's 2020 - why is this thing not rechargeable? Major oversight IMO.
Outside that, the attachments are all very effective and adequate for the job you're using it for ;)
I'd only ever used a rotary trimmer in the past but the flat ones this unit offers are far more effective!

Amazing insights, beautiful app
on August 31, 2020

It's pretty amazing the amount of insights this little unit gives you. I love the detail + the recommendations on how to improve your air quality. One thing I constantly get reminded to do is open my windows when CO2 levels get too high. I'm not an expert, but I did cross-ref this with a LEED engineer I know and he confirmed the levels and recommendations for me.
With the current state of the world, I also greatly appreciate their "virus index" which tells you, based on the combination of factors in your air quality, how likely viruses are to survive for any long period of time in your home - very useful!
The app is pretty, but the navigation can be a bit frustrating; just a minor nit, though, IMO.
I'd love to see the unit extendable with "satellites" you could place around your house, though, because it's hard to find the "perfect" place to put something about as big as a 16oz aluminum can of soda.

Does the job, makes great ice! Minor flaws.
on July 20, 2020

It does what it says. But, after 1 week of the unit powered on and working, it still doesn't "connect to wifi" like the box says. And that's literally all that says it. VERY little instructions on if you have to do more than just open the app and hit "connect". Poor documentation here.
The ice it makes is exactly what you want - that's for sure. It uses quite a bit more water than I expected since it (supposedly) "recycles" the melted ice back into the system. Nevertheless it is, of course, delicious :)
The slide-out container that holds the ice has an apparent deisgn flaw, though. We took it to the neighbor's for a dinner party one evening and I just put the bucket on their counter. An hour later their entire counter and floor was wet - despite the spring-loaded mechanism to drain water from the bucket it had been leaking out of there the entire time. So just buyer-beware on this if you plan on transporting the ice.
Power consumption is about 155w according to the Wemo Insight switch I have hooked up to it. I use this to shut off the ice maker overnight and turn it back on in the morning. Amazingly enough, there is plenty of ice in it when it starts back up in the morning which impressed me. However, it doesn't seem to automatically power back on sometimes when the switch re-engages. Not a huge deal, but might be a minor inconvenience for some. Haven't worked out what the actual reason for this is.

Slick look & feature set, but...
on July 13, 2020
Posted by: bc3tech
from Seattle, WA
I had the mic in my office and, despite choosing "front" mode, it picked up quite a bit of the background while I was on conference calls. I had to have it pretty close to my face in order to get the desired effect, which was just awkward and uncomfortable.
Additionally, on my Surface Book 2 it continually dis/reconnected, which is problematic when I'm trying to work from home and join conference calls. However my son says on his Asus laptop it works just fine. Not much to configure/install w/ a USB mic so ...
The look of the mic is pretty slick, and it's got a quick & easy button to switch modes of the pick-up with dials on the back to adjust volume, etc. If you have USB headphones it'll take some configuring on your PC end because the mic itself has speaker-out but only for a 2.5mm jack.
My advice: really analyze your need/usage of an external dedicated mic like this; for the price you can probably find something better.

Intense! But a little quirky
on May 11, 2020

This massager is intense! It really does the job and reminds me of somebody doing very hard "karate hands" on you quickly :D
However, the pairing with the app is a bit quirky, in particular if you're trying to share the device with somebody else. My wife and I both have the app and we both have the gun paired to our phones, but if we're anywhere near each other the app gets confused, the gun won't start, etc and we have to have one of us shut bluetooth off on our phone.
Additionally, there must be some nuance to when you can use the gun in "disconnected" mode (just pick it up and power it on without any app interaction) as sometimes this works but other times it doesn't.
The app itself is well-made and provides decent guidance on exercises. Some are easier to do oneself than others which are better done by a companion (reaching your lower back w/ the device, for instance).
All-in-all it does the trick to remove knots in my shoulder/neck area quite nicely, which is one of the primary reasons I got it!

Be mindful of your starting point

First let me say that the installation of this is nothing to sneeze at. It must be mounted to the outside of your house, pointing *directly* at your nearest tower (line of sight) and then cable run (no more than 60ft) to the boost box, then cable run (no more than 30ft) to the broadcaster in your house. So it's quite involved. That said, our installer was absolutely *awesome* - literally zero complaints. He did a great job telling me how it worked, what to expect, how the install went, etc.
We started with a -108dB reading from Verizon - basically non-existent. At the end we were up to -78. This is still not good, but it's better. Basically, the difference is between .5 bars and 1.5 bars. So, while our phones still show us at ~1 bar, there was effectively a 3x increase in signal and the reliability and LTE speed are definitely better.
But do not go into this thinking you're going to go from no bars to 5 bars with this unit; it can only do so much with what it has to work with.

Lightweight, all-day comfortable, incredible sound
on February 23, 2020

We gave these to my son for his birthday. Upon opening the package my wife held the headphones and looked at me "oh my gosh, can I have them instead?" :D
They are insanely lightweight and the overhead band has a foam cushion that makes them easily all-day wearable. My son states that never before has he felt like he was actually *in* the game like with these headphones (and he's used some high-end Turtle Beach ones in the past!).
Highly recommended. The only caveat is, according to my son, they don't have an adjustment at the earpiece level for head size (where they would lengthen/shorten based on different needs).

Enjoy big-screen entertainment with this Epson 3LCD portable projector. All-digital HDMI connectivity lets you stream from a variety of devices, and 3,300 lumens of equal color and white brightness let you use it in almost any lighting condition. This Epson 3LCD projector lets you view images up to 25 times larger than those on a 60-inch TV.

Can you plug your android cell phone into it and play movies from your cell phone to the projector?

If you're going in to any of the provided video ports (HDMI, VGA, etc) then yes. Not just via USB though; that's out/charging only.

Does it hurt to have the RF-WHTIB wireless rear speaker system plugged into its own power supply and "on" all the time?

Certainly not, mine was plugged in to a separate outlet and always on for a number of years and I never had issues with it.

Powered sub output?

Is there an output for my powered sub?
If your powered sub accepts speaker-wire inputs, then yes this could work for that. But it does only have two channels. so you're not going to get your L and R rears, PLUS the sub output if that's what you're wondering.

all the inputs and outputs of the system are speaker wire only, though - no RCA (which some powered subs only take)

Can this be used with a side speaker and a rear speaker instead to two rear speakers?

Sorry for such a dumb question, but I had to ask since the back of the unit shows L/R for Left and Right. I do not have a problem with wiring left side of the room, but right side involves crossing two doors. Can I install the unit such that it services one right side speaker and one right rear speaker?
I see no reason why not. It simply transmits the signal for two channels; whatever those may be. as long as it can hit the "receiving" part of the unit, just plug the L and R lines accordingly and you should be able to get just what you're looking for.

Does the Rocketfish Wireless Rear Speaker Kit work with an RCA RT2906 home theater system?

I'm not sure on this particular home theatre system, but I can explain why they call it universal and perhaps that'll help you.

Basically if you have speaker wire coming out of your receiver, then you just plug that speaker wire in to the "sender" of the unit, and then put the "receiver" of the unit wherever your rear speakers are going to sit and plugs those in w/ their speaker wire.

The one downside is that the receiving unit has to be plugged in via A/C (wall plug) and is not battery powered; somewhat of a pain and faux pas on their part in the design. I'd have liked to see it powered by C/D batteries so that it could be completely disconnected.

on Blu-Ray titles video specs

why do some have 1080P while others have AVC @ 26 MBPS
AVC would seem to suggest that they were not originally filmed at HD resolutions. AVCHD is a format you can use to encode videos not HD quality on to a blu-ray disc to play on HD players. I have not seen such a movie - can you specify the title of what you're seeing AVC & 26MBPS on?

Where to find 3D movies and how do you tell they are 3D?

I have a 60" dlp set with the 3D glasses from Nvidia, it's fun for games but I would like to try watching a movie in 3D, but I am not sure where I could by the special DVDs/blurays for it, since they have to have a special format for the player to display them in 3D
If these are the "old" red/blue glasses, then no. If these are powered, Active Scan glasses, then there's a good chance you'll be able to use them w/ the new equipment. I do not yet know of any movies out in 3D, but the players do exist as I'm sure you already know. Early indications say that you will have to have glasses that match your 3d SET in order for it to work (panasonic glasses -> panasonic TV, etc). Your DLP set is likely not the new 3d standard that has been developed, so I don't think you can expect to see 3d content from the players/movies that are coming out on it.
