4 pin cable works well and although thick and bulky is flexible enough to bend where required. Good connections and easy to install. Includes the securing clip to prevent the cord rubbing on the appliance electrical cut out hole.

Good but withdrawbacks

Pros: stainless steel for corrosion resistance; strong and don't squash flat easily or kink so damage resistant.
Cons: The hoses do not have 90 degree fittings so if you have to locate your appliance (washing machine or steam dryer) back close against a wall the hoses will protrude and will not allow location closer than 4 inches. I recommend getting the hoses with 90 degree fittings to save space in tight utility closets.

Great washing machine, very quiet and economical

Pros: very quiet wash and spin; uses much less water than top loader but retains option to add garments; no vibration or movement when spinning due to the heavy weight of the machine. The machine has 2 hand holds on both sides to allow it to be moved which is not easy to do pushing from the front. Make sure you lock the adjustable feet locknuts and properly level the machine with a spirit level. LG supply 2 sticky non slip pads for the front adjustable feet to prevent movement which is thoughtful addition.
Cons: the hoses supplied by LG do not have 90 degree hose fittings so it is difficult to put the machine close to the back wall. I recommend replacing with stainless steel 90 degree fitting hoses to prevent kinking and save an inch or more on space.
This machine is very heavy, trying to get it moved even with the helpful side handholds is difficult from the front. If space is restricted as it is in our condo utility closet, pushing from the front takes a lot of effort as the machine does not slide easily.
Also, worth noting when measuring the depth of space you have available, you need to take into account that the door is convex and the glass bows outwards about 2" further than the washer frame, the same for the matching dryer DLEX 4370. which I had not realized when measuring the available space and had to rehang the utility closet doors to prevent touching the machine door.

Very quiet dryer some issues with installation

Cons: the water supply hose provided by LG does not have a 90 degree fitting which prevents the dryer fitting close to the back wall which can bend and kink the hose and put stress on the dryer hose connection. The water hose inlet location on the bottome left rear of the dryer also prevents the dryer exhaust vent hose from fitting close to the rear of the dryer if you need to direct it to that side. LG would be better putting the water hose connection high as it is on the washing machine. I recommend getting a stainless steel water hose with 90 degree end fitting to replace the LG hose.
Our new dryer has a fault : it gives a restricted Flow error and D 80 restriction/blockage error when doing the dryer installation check; according to the manual, this error will automatically shut the dryer down after 2mins 30 seconds if it occurs in use. Thinking the vent trunking was blocked inside the wall, I had the trunking cleaned professionally and I fitted a new short metal vent hose to the dryer and removed the drywall and fitted hard pvc vent piping in the wall, removing a 90 degree bend and the old metal flex piping to minimize any flow restriction. I Repeated the vent installation test per LG manual but the fault D80 and restricted flow message recurred, even after clearing the electronic "memory" reseting per instructions. I looked up the issue on the internet, this time I tested the dryer without connecting the vent trunking but the fault remained. So, again I checked the internet and per the advice put a wet load of laundry into the dryer (6lbs of towels) and Ran the dryer in towel mode for 50 mins. This time no error D80 or restricted flow error was indicated and the dryer has worked perfectly and the error has not reappeared to date.

Disappointing after all the build up and hype

In my opinion Daniel Craig's weakest portrayal in the series, ranks close to Quantum of Solace. Casino Royale is by far the best Bond for Craig and I believe of all the Bond movies, even Connery's; so I had high hopes for Craig to go out with a bang, as there was great potential in the story of how Spectre began and how Bond became "Bond". However, a strong storyline never developed: the screenplay is weak, the action scenes are not on par with the rawness of the Casino Royale script or visuals, which really encapsulated Bond essence from the Fleming book but brought a modern, brutal and harder edge. Spectre took a backward step in having Bond become part of a story that plodded along stitched together disjointedly, with predictable action sequences and unimpressive dialogue to an unbelievable conclusion, where Bond Leaves Blofeld alive and drives off into the sunrise with a girl half his age. It would have been much better to leave the story hanging, unknown if Bond survives or not; something like Holmes and Moriarty at the Richenbach Falls perhaps, leading the way for a new Bond to rise. One can only hope with the next Bond rendition, that his idyllic life is shattered by Blofeld killing his new love, bringing Bond back from the brink from the life of the mundane. In summary, you have to watch the movie even if just to say you have seen them all. Hopefully, Spectre the movie will fade away and the next movie takes the Bond character to new highs.

Can the door be reversed so that it matches the direction of the washer when the units are stacked?
Yes, you can reverse the door. However, you should do so before putting the dryer on top of the washing machine as the door is heavy; you should also support the door with a small step stool or a sturdy box on a pillow when reversing the door. This gives support and protects from scratching the door glass surface.
