Not bad but expected more!

The sound from these speakers is a lot better than your typical pc speakers you usually get on the low price end of the scale; however at 100.00 a pair the jury is still out as far as is it worth the extra money. I am not saying these are bad speakers by no mean, but I feel 50 dollar price range would make these and excellent deal.

Worked out of the box (however)

Plugged it in to my pc an it immediately worked with the video chat program I use and video quality is good, however I had just updated to Windows 10 on the pc and Logitech currently does not have the cam software to download for Windows 10 so you can make adjustments or add effects while on cam; and it is too early for me to tell if there will be any driver issues at this point in time.

With so many devices in use, your home network is busier than ever. This Linksys router can eliminate slowdown and interference by delivering Wi-Fi signals directly to each device, so everyone can listen to music, stream movies, and shop or game online at the same time..

Returned it after one day use

Highly disappointed! I bought this to replace my Linksys E4200 which I have had for a few years and it has always worked fine but was intrigued by all the added features this newer more expensive model offered. Boy was I disappointed. Only had 2 issues but they to me were big ones. First one was the router rebooted on its own twice in the 24 hour period I had it and secondly only the phone app for the Linksys smart wifi actually works to allow you to make any changes to the device. If you try logging in on the pc web based version the log in doesn't work right and once you do manage to get logged in most of the features you select only get you a "waiting for page" to load message so I decided this was not the device for me and hooked back up my Linksys E4200 and returned this one to Best Buy.

Might be a great game, but waiting to play it.
By branbric
I live out in DSL land, and specifically bought a physical copy of the game so that I would only have to download the Day 1 Patch for the game. Except, the game doesn't install even a QUARTER of the required game data, leaving me to wait days to download the massive 43 gig game over a DSL connection, not happy.

Downloading!
May 17, 2016
Yes it is pretty much headed that way almost 100% now. Even if you buy a hard copy of any game it will pretty much be associated with some client like Steam/Orion/Ubi meaning the game will be downloaded thru the client and all you pretty much have to do is activate the product.

DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!!
By SpazManik
Did extensive research before this purchase. Got exactly what I was expecting. Judging by some of the negative reviews I've seen on here, I'd guess those people didn't do nearly as much research as they claimed. Anyways, the immersion factor on the Rift is phenomenal. While there are only a handful of good VR games for it right now, you have to realize that VR is still in it's infancy. Complaining about lack of games just demonstrates your own lack of research. The build quality is fantastic. The headset itself is decently comfortable. I will say that you need to pace yourself in VR, as VR sickness will begin to set in. Very happy with this purchase. I would advise anyone who is thinking about purchase, DO YOUR HOMEWORK. Research it. Know what games are out. Know what system requirements are needed to run it flawlessly. Also, make sure you have enough USB3.0's free, as well as make sure you have a compatible USB 3.0 controller, as not all will work with the Rift.

Did you consider the HTC Vive?
September 4, 2016
I have done research on both and I'm guessing you did also. The HTC Vive is 200 more so pricey but it also from what ive seen of the demo is even more immersive than the Rift. It actually features 2 hand controllers and 2 ir boxes that creates a whole room effect.

Good card, but...
By b0n87
This card blow every card I've own away, but I think that I got a bad overclocking card (I feel like I got a terrible OC CPU too). Default clock is 1607 MHz, with a boost to 1734 MHz. The highest I can overclock this particular card without any issues is 1787 MHz, with a boost of 1914 MHz. If I try to OC higher than that my system goes "kapoot" and any benchmarks I try to run crash (heaven, valley, 3D mark etc...). It could be I haven't found the sweet spot for my card, but I kind of gave up. (I'm using MSI afterburner to OC).
My rig is pretty decent (see below).
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170X-Gaming 7
CPU: i7 6700k (OC to 4.6)
CPU is cooled with a Corsair AIO H100i v2
64 GB of Crucial Ballistix Sports LT RAM
500 GB Samsung EVO 850 SSD
(plus 2 other HDD and a second SSD)
Corsair RM850w PSU
Overall this card is good and I would recommend it, but I think a 1080 from MSI, ASUS, or EVGA might be better if your looking to overclock this card. Unless you are going to put a waterblock on this card that's the route I would go.

Although it undoubtedly goes without saying at this late date, the original Star Trek is the most popular and influential science fiction series ever seen on American network television--and as far as many people are concerned, it remains absolutely the best TV series of any kind. The weekly, hour-long Star Trek was conceived as "Wagon Train in outer space" by its creator, Gene Roddenberry, who had long labored in the TV-western mills before his pet project made its NBC debut on September 8, 1966. Describing space as "the final frontier" in the opening narration, Captain James T. Kirk (William Shatner), commander of the starship U.S.S. Enterprise, informed the viewer that his vessel's five-year mission was to "seek out new life forms and new civilizations", and "to boldly go where no man has gone before." The series was set in the 23rd century, a time in which most of the various intergalactic civilizations (with the notable exception of the warlike Klingons!) had forged a lasting peace and formed the United Federation of Planets, for whom the Enterprise was the flagship. While the heroic, self-sacrificing Kirk was the leading character and primary plot motivator, the series' most famous character was the Enterprise's pointy-eared first officer/science officer Mr. Spock (Leonard Nimoy). Born on the planet Vulcan and the product of a Vulcanian father and human mother, Mr. Spock was cool, unflappable, unemotional, meticulously logical--and to thousands upon thousands of female Star Trek enthusiasts, irresistible. Other members of the multiethnic crew included Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy (DeForest Kelley), the ship's short-tempered chief medical officer ("Dammit, Jim, I'm a doctor, not a mind-reader!"); chief engineer Montgomery "Scotty" Scott (James Doohan); Lt. Uhura (Nichelle Nichols), the African American communications officer; Lt. Sulu (George Takei), the Asian helmsman; nurse Christine Chapel (played by Majel Barrett, later Mrs. Gene Roddenberry); and, beginning in the second season, Russian-born ensign Pavel Chekov (Walter Koenig). Another principal character, Yeoman Janice Rand (Grace Lee Whitney), appeared sporadically during the first two seasons. Unlike so many other sci-fi/fantasy programs, Star Trek favored strong characterizations and solid story values over gadgetry and monsters: indeed, it was originally touted as "TV's first adult science fiction series." As such, the program attracted the best writers of the genre, among them Richard Matheson, Theodore Sturgeon, Robert Bloch, David Gerrold and Harlan Ellison, and the series' prolific story consultant, D.C. Fontana). Even so, there were still plenty of special photographic effects, which may seem a bit primitive when seen today but were sufficiently impressive to earn an Emmy award. The most memorable special effect was utilized whenever Kirk and his officers were "disintegrated" in order to be transported from the deck of the Enterprise to the surface of the planet of the week, and back again--inspiring the series' most famous catchphrase, "Beam me up, Scotty". While NBC has come in for its share of criticism for dictating budget cuts and production-staff changes that gradually eroded the series' quality (especially during its much-maligned third season), the network deserves credit for keeping Star Trek alive for three seasons and 79 episodes, despite mediocre ratings. It was only after its cancellation on September 2, 1969 and its move into off-network syndication that Star Trek began steadily building a huge audience above and beyond its core fan base of "Trekkers" (or "Trekkies", depending upon the fan's age and extent of enthusiasm). By the time the first Star Trek convention was held in 1972, the series' place in the Valhalla of TV classics was assured.

What's with the sound?
By bassed28
I've been a huge fan of the original Star Trek series since my pre-teen years, and I bought the DVDs when they first came out. I was disappointed then because they didn't do any clean-up at all, they just straight transferred the old film to DVD. I'm much happier with the quality of this set. It looks great on my 4K TV. I like the versions with the updated special effects, although those fancy updates do tend to look a little out of place when they switch to the live action on those cheap 60's sets. What I didn't like was the audio - these are oddly quiet, especially for Blu-Rays. To hear the dialog I have to crank my speakers up to the point where they're hissing, and it's entirely annoying. Why put so much effort into the video and then put it out with terrible audio? I don't understand.

Its available on Netflix and the PQ and audio if you are a 4K subscriber is superb, and there is software out there that will even let you record Netflix episodes on your pc where you could then burn the episodes to Blu Ray discs if you have the setup. Or just enjoy Netflix version.

Very Slow! CPU fan failed...still slow
By James
Glad to see the truth is coming out via other reviews about the slowness of this computer. I bought this computer 6 months ago. It is indeed a VERY slow computer. I only do basic web browsing, email, YouTube. Nothing intensive. It takes close to 30sec-60sec for a webpage to fully load, along with freezing up many many times during the process. To make matters worse, within 3 months it died- it would not turn on. Apparently the CPU fan failed. I called Lenovo about the warranty and Lenovo said a technician would come to replace the part once it arrived in 2 weeks. Well....2 weeks later...no part arrived. I had to call Lenovo once again because I never heard anything and they now added that another part has to be ordered. I said ok. Another 2 weeks passed by. No word yet. I called Lenovo a third time, and Lenovo said they would just replace the computer. That eventually happened 2-3 weeks after I was told about it. In total it was at least a month till I got it replaced. The replacement is still slow. Freezes up..can't even handle 3 tabs on internet browsers. Sometimes I have to use the computers at the PUBLIC LIBRARY because they do not freeze up nor are slow like this one.
Seriously folks, save yourself the money. I would never recommend this computer to anyone.

WOW Simply Amazing!
By SuperPatron
I'm running this in surround at 5760 x 1080 with the Asus Rog G20 16GB Ram, Intel i7 4790 that I also purchased from BestBuy last year. I purchased the GTX 1080 to replace the GTX 760 that came with the Asus PC. All I can say is WOW, at full load running ESO Online Max settings the GPU load is only 60% and runs at 54 degrees C. That is compared to 99% load and 87 degrees C on the GTX 760. The GTX 1080 is a MONSTER, the cooling fans don't even come on and you can't even hear it running. This is bar none the best GPU I have ever seen and used. Monster, monster card I don't plan on doing 4K gaming for sometime and will be at 1080P for now. The GTX 1080 also makes your left and right monitor look better as images are no longer stretched in surround mode. Well worth the money and then some...this card is longer then the GTX 760 by about half an inch but it does still fit no problem in the Asus Rog G20. I know many out there are wondering if the GTX 1080 will run and fit inside of the Asus Rog G20 and it totally does and it is amazing! No need for additional power cords or anything, the single 8 Pin power cable that comes with the Asus Rog G20 is all that you will need. This is truly swap out and play. You will need to fully reinstall the Nvidia drivers after though, even if you update them prior to the GPU swap and install so keep that in mind.

Great upgrade from the previous model
By CBJ1231
I've read a lot of comments from people who do not even own this device yet... to those people I say get a life.
I purchased this about 2 weeks ago and here are my impressions thus far:
a. Physically: if you had the original PS4 the size difference is not that much of an issue but if you had the slim model.. make room. its at least 1/2 - 3/4 " taller and a bit deeper. (still smaller than the original xbox one though)
b. Game play: FIRST I DO NOT OWN A 4K TV!!! I'm speaking from a decent 1080P HD TV. I've tried several different games and modes and I'm comparing to my XBox one in regards to speed. I played Dishonored (definitive edition) on both systems. Game play seems smoother on the PS4 Pro, and screens load A LOT faster. Visually I cant tell a difference ON THIS GAME mainly because its not optimized for the improved PS4 Pro.
Smite: I played on both systems (if you don't know Smite is an online MOBA style game similar to League of Legends) Game play wise both systems play about the same. Visually video is slightly better on the Pro than Xone. (lines are sharper, color gradation is much better)
Rise of the Tomb Raider. I have about an hour or so on both systems but THIS game made me glad I choose to pick up a PS Pro. Even though its a 1080 TV the graphics and frame rate are SOOOOOO much better. Its almost like watching a tv show. game play is smooth as silk, lines are crisp and sharp, textures and colors Pop and all those little details like snow and rain make this a cut WAY above the other machine.
possible problems I haven't checked yet: I read that there may be an issue with textures and frame rate dropping (from 60 fps to 55-58fps) in games like Skyrim and The last of us. I read that its not necessarily a HARDWARE issue so much as a developer issue. IF this is true I believe a patch down the line would correct this issue. (remember this system was only released 2 weeks ago... updates will be coming) Seeing as how these are the only two games that I've heard of this happening to, I wouldn't stress it too much. the work around is if you drop the video to 30fps you won't have this issue at all. Other down side, if your playing at higher frame rates... the fan kicks on and although not as loud as previous Playstations it can be noticeable.
c. basic stuff: the controller is very comfortable to hold and maintains its charge for a good many hours. (I average about 2-3 hours a night and may have to charge it by the 3 or 4 th night.) I have Turtle Beach Stealth 400 headset from my previous PS4 works even better because I don't need the Optical cable. True Bluetooth. The increase processing power and larger hard drive alone makes the extra 100 bucks worth it. If you have any intention of doing the VR thing you have to get this version. Hands down.
d. oh the Blue ray player.. some people are complaining about the Pro not having a 4K blue ray. Me personally I don't care. I watch most of my movies via streaming anyway. However to those that do watch blue ray, 4k resolution will only affect 4k blue rays. Any non 4k blue rays will still look the same. For me this was not a deal breaker but thats just me.
Thats about all I can think of.. I tried to keep it very factual and straight forward. I would definitely recommend this device to any and anyone wanting a Playstation.

One of the best printers I've ever owned
By Reviewer
I've owned a lot of printers in my lifetime. This is by far the best for a home use printer. Brother is so much better than HP. I've always had problems with HP, so I went out on a limb and bought a Brother. And I love it. The HP kept dropping my wifi network. This one does not have a problem. This printer allows me to print from my iPhone, iPad and wireless from my pc. The scanning is so easy, the copying is fabulous for a family. You can scan it from your computer or from the machine. You can scan to a file or send it directly to email too. I love the duplex printing, to save money on paper. This is the printer for every family especially with school work and other household paperwork. I highly recommend this printer. Ditch the HP printers and give Brother a chance, and you will not regret it.
FYI - I got it on sale, I think around $79. I can't remember the exact price. But I did notice the price went up $20 the next day.

I have blue lights on both, solid. I have no sound, I swapped the the wires to known good working terminals and still no sound. I tried direct connect to rear, by passing the sender hub, and get sound. What else can I be missing? I also tried to reset button, it flashes then both go back to solid blue.
Check to make sure you don't have them backwards meaning the Transmitter and the Receiver. I assumed the larger sized unit was the transmitter when it fact it was vs versa.

WiFi speed up to 3.2Gbps and 6 high performance antennas provide maximum speed and range. Smart Connect allows you to game, stream, and download mega-sized files without lags.

which wi fi router is the best for Hughesnet Gen 4 satellite system

We live in the country and have hughesnet Satellite gen 4 system, we experiance several times a day dropping the wi fi signal. Which wi fi router would you recommend that would allow us not to drop signals, from netflix and other communication devices? we are looking at the NETGEAR - NIGHTHAWK, X6 AC3200 TRI-BAND WI FI ROUTER (8000)
May not be a router issue. I hear satellite internet is still very unstable and also they do not allow a lot of data usage; something like only 50 gigs a month which in this day and age most people blow thru in a day some heavy users would go thru that in an hour an once you do reach the allotment allowed your net speed slows to a crawl as slow as dialup.
