OK Tablet, does what I need

I bought this tablet primarily to interface with my Vox VT40X guitar amplifier. I needed an inexpensive tablet for the tone room app which I was running from my laptop and wanted something more compact. The Android 7 OS fit the bill and 32gigs of memory was a plus. nothing in this price range offered a 10" screen and 32gigs. I use an Ipad for some things at work and this is no Ipad. It's heavier, thicker, and slower. That being said I also use it to browse facebook, check my email, and use chrome for a little shopping and bill paying. Lke I said it's a little slow loading websites but otherwise works fine I have yet to buy a micro SD card to expand the on-board memory and will probably pick up a 64gig soon. If you just want a decent inexpensive tablet give this one a look. for a casual user who wants to have something besides a laptop to lug around you could spend a bit more but why. It seems to do what I need it to do.

I purchased a 10.1" Insignia tablet and wanted something to protect it. It was an "open box" item and much nicer than anything I saw elsewhere for the money even at full price. I like the edge clips to hold the tablet, there is nothing interfering with the screen at all. Even the purple color is nice, kind of a royal purple.

I got this so I could interface the tone room app on my new tablet with my new guitar amplifier. I already had a USB to mini B connector I was using with my laptop and needed this to convert the standard USB to micro C for the Tablet. It works just fine. I like the way it has a very durable rubber coating for the short cable and connectors very well made and much less expensive than other adapters. I have also used it to transfer files from my USB drive to the Tablet.

A great finale to The Wolverine saga. Hugh Jackman really brought depth to this character, I dont know how they can ever reboot the Wolverine after this but I'm sure they'll try. He's leaving some mighty big shoes. This is undoubtedly the best of the series.

This movie ends literally hours before Part IV begins...that's not a spoiler, believe me. We know that the rebels got the plans for the Death Star...now we know the rest of the story. This is not part of the "Skywalker family saga" but a story of the rebel alliance. It is a worthy addition to the Star Wars stories.

It's getting harder to find recordable digital media, what with satellite radio, streaming services like Pandora, bluetooth enabled car radios, mp3's on your phone, and USB memory so inexpensive...I still have a CD player in my car and like to record copies to bring with. It's also harder to find CD's with jewel cases. I don't need to buy a spindle of 50 or 100 and separate jewel boxes for them. This package fits my needs just fine.

Great Origin Story

Dr. Strange has been one of my favorites since I was a kid. When movie effects finally developed to the point where films like this could be made I knew it was only a matter of time before we got the kind of movie Dr. Strange could be. Admittedly some of the sequences seem like they are out of "Dark City" or "Inception" but are done so smoothly that you won't care thanks to the story line. Dr. Strange brings the Marvel Universe into the Multiverse with endless possibilities.

Great Blues Album

This album of blues songs is not your typical Stones fare, it is more of an homage to music they love and that inspired them. These are not reinterpretations as much as they are authentic covers of some great Blues numbers. Many years ago Mick Jagger was asked about what he would be doing when he "got old"...he responded something like "I've been imitating old blues men most of my life". Well, he and Keith and the others have learned their lessons well 'cause these songs are about as "roots" as they get.

I've always been a sucker for the Stones...the "bad boys" of the British Invasion but I had forgotten just how good this album was. Oh you still hear some of the songs on the radio but hearing them together, in their original context, makes a difference. This CD also spotlights Mick Taylor's fabulous guitar work...Keith Richards and Ron Woods may be the mainstays these days but Taylor (Brian Jones' "replacement") has not been equaled by either...Don't believe me?...just listen to the wonderful jazzy solo on Can't You Hear Me Knocking, the the sweet licks on Angie, or the raw blues sound of You Gotta Move. Make no mistake, he shaped the Stones' sound as much as Mick and Keith during his tenure on this and other albums. You owe it to yourself to hear this in its original context, start to finish.

I am reading correctly that I can add songs from my iTunes account right?
Sure, I don't use iTunes myself but it is supposed to be completely compatible. I have been loading CD's from my collection by ripping them to my Windows Media Player, then its just drag drop and click sync.

When I use the in ear headphones, I get a headache
Which headphone would you recommend that I would not possibly get a headache with?
Many ear buds put pressure on your ear canal and this could be the problem. Some come with different size silicone adapters and smaller ear pieces might help this. On ear or over the ear phones could solve this by not inserting into the ear at all. Also be aware of the volume level, "live concert" levels could damage your hearing, which is why I bring ear plugs to concerts, if it gets too loud I can always pop them in and reduce the volume that way. If it hurts to listen it's too loud.

Can I download podcasts from itunes onto this player?
It is iTunes compatible although I have not used iTunes myself, I just download to my media player and drag and drop my selection into the Walkman, couldn't be easier
