Detroit: Become Human sets a new standard for Quantic Dream games. The game features a fantastic story, like many other games from this developer. What makes it even better than previous games is the number of alternate paths that you can take throughout the game. Even gamers who rarely replay games will find themselves doing a second, or even a third playthrough of this game to see all of the "what if" scenarios.
The only drawback of this game is that you're limited in what you can do and interact with. This is simply the style of game that Quantic Dream makes, and those gamers who simply don't like this sort of game likely will not enjoy Detroit: Become Human, despite it being a cut above previous games.
Overall, I consider it a great game with a fantastic story.

Solid fighting game with some online issues

Dragon Ball FighterZ is a departure from the previous DBZ fighting games. DBFZ is a 2D fighter, which takes aspects from some previous games by developer ArcSys like BlazBlue and Guilty Gear, along with some aspects from Capcom's Marvel vs. Capcom series.
The game features a story mode which is a bit too long and bland, and it will probably feel like a grind to get through. However, beating this mode unlocks a character, so many players will stick it out for that reason alone.
Being a fighting game, multiplayer is the mode that most players will be spending the majority of their time with. Overall, the fighting engine is pretty fun, but unfortunately there are some glaring issues with online play.
First, connections just drop randomly sometimes, which immediately ends the match. Also, there is no real punishment for "ragequitting" in this game, so you'll inevitably end up being cheated out of some wins in ranked mode due to this.
DBZF is a fun game overall. If the online issues I listed above were not present, I'd likely rate the game 4 out of 5 stars. Hopefully one day the developers will address those issues; however, being that I'm writing this review a couple of months after release and that hasn't happened yet, I'm not hopeful that it ever will.

A great sequel, marred by a poor final act

Fans of Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor will be likely to enjoy this sequel. Shadow of War improves upon many elements of the previous installment. You will find new ways to power up your character such as finding higher level weapons and armor, and stones to add bonuses to said items. You can also build up your orc army's power in a number of ways in order to improve your chances of success in the attacks and defense of each region that will occur throughout the game.
Combat is very similar to the previous installment, which is a good thing. You'll dodge and counter attacks by pressing the corresponding button when on screen prompts appear throughout combat. You'll have a variety of different special attacks which will increase as you level up your character, including fire, frost, and poison based attacks. This keeps combat fresh throughout the game, as well as giving you more tools to defeat tougher opponents.
By far, the worst part of the game is the final act of the game. During this act, you will defend the regions you've conquered throughout the game numerous times. So many times that it becomes a boring grind. I'm not sure if this act was included to extend the hours of gameplay, or to increase the chances that people will spend real money on the game's infamous loot boxes, but either way, the whole act seems quite pointless.
Overall a solid game, and I would recommend it. Honestly the final act of the game is so poorly done that I considered giving the game a 3 star rating instead of a 4 star rating, but I thought that would be a bit too harsh.

A disappointing downgrade of a great series

I'm a long time fan of the Marvel vs Capcom series. My experience with the Marvel fighting game series dates all the way back to Marvel Super Heroes. If anyone should have been hype for this game it's me. Sadly this game was a disappointment in a number of ways.
Graphically, the game looks pretty bad. Character models range from average to downright ugly.
The roster of MvC games is always one of the main draws, and the roster for this game is not only disappointingly small, but some of the selections are very questionable. No doubts this was done so Capcom could cash in on DLC, which is a bit infuriating.
MvC:I features an all new fighting engine/system, which allows for a lot of creativity. You can tag in your partner at almost any time, which really allows for combos and setups that were not possible in any previous installment. It can make for some exciting gameplay, and is a breath of fresh air into the series.
Despite that, the game is an overall disappointment. I can't help but feel this game is a test run for the proper sequel that we HOPE we'll get one day.

With full 4K resolution, this Samsung TV is a great value. As a gamer, it was important to me that I got a TV with low lag. After doing some research, I found that this TV fit the bill nicely in that regard. Tekken 7, although an enjoyable game overall, may leave fans of the series with a bit of disappointment, as it is a bit of a downgrade from the last major installment in the series (Tekken Tag Tournament 2).
The core fighting game engine is mostly unchanged from previous installments, with a few new mechanics. Fans of the series will be able to jump right in and start enjoying the game.
There are a lot fewer customization options in this game when compared to TTT2, which is a bit of a disappointment.
Load times are quite long when compared to other fighting games, and it gets very tiresome.
There are no penalties for people that quit early in ranked mode, which is a basic feature for any fighting game. It is puzzling that Namco did nothing to address this.
Overall Tekken 7 is a solid fighting game, but with some glaring issues, it's hard to give this game more than a marginal recommendation for anyone but long time fans of the series.

Injustice 2 has a great story mode, and a good amount of single player content. The graphics are quite good - a definite improvement over the original Injustice. There was a lot of effort put into the DC lore, with a huge amount of unique dialogue between the characters.
