Great basic fitness watch with some extras

It did what I was hoping for and a bit more. HR monitor seems quite accurate. Notifications from a phone are quite useful-even though you can't do much with them. It's not a full blown smartwatch. This model does not have GPS and I don't think it has an altimeter. However, this probably improves battery life. I charge every 3 days or so but it can probably go for 5. It looks like all Garmin watches use the same Connect app, which is pretty good. It logs and graphs HR, sleep, steps, and others.

Does a great job for the price

Connections were well marked and directions for installation and use were quite clear. I take issue with a previous reviewer who was confused by big box/little box-meaning that the person thought intuitively that the big box (transmitter) should be next to the stereo receiver. No sir. The small box is a transmitter only while the big box that is placed on the speaker side is both a receiver and an amplifier. That's an inherent weakness of a system like this. Your surround speakers are driven by the small Rocketfish amplifier rather than the better quality stereo amplifier. Sound quality on the surrounds can't possibly be audiophile level due to degradation by Bluetooth and an inexpensive amplifier. However, it does a great job for the price.

Very good remote for multiple devices

Remote feels good in the hand and uses attractive materials. Devices respond quickly to remote signals. Transfer of devices and settings from old to new Logitech worked correctly. The ability to use a smart phone or tablet to control the hub in a manner that is similar to the remote should be useful for some people. However, Harmony Hub has frozen a couple of times requiring a restart. Also, it is odd that there is no numerical key pad. Favorites can be used to navigate to the desired channel or at least to the vicinity. Favorites do not sort themselves automatically by channel number after deleting adding and there is no sort function that I could find. In spite of the minor annoyances this likely is one of the best replacements on the market for simplifying the use of A/V systems with multiple components.

A good refrigerator but beware of size

Noise ratings for this appliance are varied. I can hear the compressor when it runs but it is not objectionable. The compressor is labeled LG so I'll assume that it's a decent quality unit. I appreciate that the set temperature and the actual temperature are always displayed. This unit has a lot of capacity but that's part of the problem. Apparently the design tries to squeeze every bit of space from an appliance that will fit into a 24 inch opening. The height was a problem for me. I really think they could have made this thing a half inch shorter. Be sure to measure the H, W, and D of your opening because it's big on all dimensions.

Is there a Wireless speaker kit that does not need a power adapter for the receiver?
Stereo speakers rely on the presence of an amplifier. In a wired system the stereo receiver does the amplification. A wireless signal needs to be amplified at some point. In the absence of an amplifier that is part of the wireless receiver for the only alternative would be self contained speakers-i.e. speakers with built in amplifiers.
