Stainless Steel hoses on plastic connections?

The hoses are fine.....but it really doesn't make since to hook up a stainless steel hose to a plastic hook-up on the back of the washing machine.
I miss the old days where the hookups where all metal...plastic gets brittle over time and will eventually break....most likely when you are not home.

Works well in tight spaces

This washer works well in tight spaces. Its pretty quiet, you can hear the water splash more than the motor when it agitates. Love the Activewash basket for washing delicates. Love the amount of features.
The only downside, this is our 3rd machine, the 1st machine was installed improperly, the hot water hose was crossed threaded...it ended up bursting off and soaking our wood floors...luckily we were home and jumped into action as soon as we heard it & turned off the water main......the water hookups are plastic & the threads were stripped (I wish they were still metal like older machines). Best Buy replaced it with another machine(2nd) which was fantastic, no hassle....a few weeks later, we found out the 2nd machine was part of the Samsung recall....so we opted to get a replacement machine instead of having it repaired (I paid for a brand new machine, not a new machine that had to be repaired).
I was disappointed in the process of the recall\replacement process,.I even purchased the BB extended warranty at the very beginning. I had to purchase another machine(3rd) & fill out & send in the rebate forms to get my money back from the recall.
IMHO...Being that I purchased the warranty at the beginning, I would like to think that BB would have just replaced the recalled machine with another machine(same model) for me & handle all the rebate forms with Samsung.
So basically I have paid for 2 washing machines.....I sent the rebate forms to Samsung 2 months ago and are still waiting for the rebate check.
