Nothing new - but with digital copy

If you already have the Die Hard series on Blu Ray , then there's nothing new for you here. The only mild differentiation is that it includes a digital copy and also both unrated & theatrical versions of the two movies "Live free or die hard" and "a good day to die hard"
No new masters or extras from what I can see. I think this may be the Nakatomi Plaza set released by Fox last year, but without the collectables.

No real surprises here - gives you a 12 month Playstation plus entitlement for online gaming / save games etc.
My only real issue (hence 4 stars instead of 5) is that BB still don't offer a digital option for this and PSN credit.

So I have been struggling to find an optimal setup with bigger desktop space - I went as far as a 32" Sony TV , but it wouldn't handle the 1080p resolution for the PC input, and the 42" was so huge I had to sit 6ft away.
So after reading the reviews on this monitor I tried not out in store - and its literally so good I bought 2. I am driving both of them off a 2012 mac mini and the slimline monitor edge and glossy screen is (in my opinion) just as good as the 21 screen on my wife iMac. My only comment would be is that the monitor surround is such a narrow edge that i you have webcams or something else you attach to the monitor, you'll need to find somewhere else to sit it.
Also there's only 1 HDMI port so like me if you want o have one of them switchable with multiple devices you'll have to invest in an HDM switcher box (which works well, but just bear in mind the monitor only has 1 port)

Kratos in HD - what could go wrong

As a PS4 early adopter I missed out on the tail end of some of my PS3 backlog games , GOW3 being one of them (yes , the backlog was that big).
I am really enjoying running through the game in HD, but in all honestly I'm not sure theres significant improvement enough over the PS3 version to make it worth a buy (especially if you've already played the original)
Even if you haven't played the original , in all honestly I would probably suggest playing it via Playstation Now (online streaming) assuming you have a good enough internet connection. Either that or wait for it to drop in price on Blackfriday or some interim BBY.COM sale.

I'll be honest the only reason I purchase these gift cards is so I can accrue MyBestBuy points for something that I would normally just bill directly to a credit card. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5, is I'd love them to have a e-gift card version (for this and things like Hulu) to save me physically having to get a card.

Enjoy the experience - but dont expect a long one

There are well documented reviews of this only being a 6hr or 7hr game - this is pretty much true if you just want to run through the story and get it done. Personally I am really enjoying the visuals and environment occasionally stopping and reading the menu in shop windows (yes, its that level of detail) and generally enjoying the layout.
The story is pretty average, and it does a great job of blending you into the story. I would call it 'an interactive movie' that you will enjoy if you're looking for some depth in a game. I would argue its not worth $60 purely on replay value alone.
If you want a good shooter then go for Destiny or something. If you're looking for something to kill a weekend on the buy The Order (but not at $60)
