When I first received them, I had to charge them to full strength, which took a bit longer than expected. Overall, it does the job. You can swap out the usb cable for a lightning cable if you need to.

I saw this item on the deal of the day emails from Best Buy. The price has significantly went down since the item was released and the newer features support water alarms. I've had it for a month or so and no problems! It has alerted me about some alarms outside my condo due to the proximity of the noise. Definitely works.

This charge kit is much more sturdy and charges a lot better than the one for the Xbox 360. That older 360 version wouldn't charge after some time and this one has been going strong. No complaints here except that it is a bit expensive for what it is.
