I thought I could use this to connect a VCR to a USB port on my PC, but when I did, the previously clear playback became distorted. After much searching I learned that the output signal of some VCRs is not strong enough, so I plugged the VCR Out to the In on a DVD player, then the DVD Out to this adapter..
