This is used for business backup and personal backup. This is the second I've purchased as my first one died, but not before backing up well over 1500 blu-ray discs!
I had ripped my entire cd collection with iTunes in ALAC format, and burned them all to blu ray for backup, as well as photos, videos, my purchased books and more.

I'd say for the work I put the first one through, I was satisfied enough to buy another just like it!
It burns quickly on my 2012 macbook pro. (about 20 minutes to burn 50GB's) It is lightweight, so I can move it from place to place easily.
